Kim Zolciak's Ex-Husband's Divorce Lawyer Going After Him Over Unpaid Bills

KimZolciak's ex-husband's lawyer is going after former NFL player Kroy Biermann for unpaid legal fees amid their messy divorce.

According to legal documents obtained by The Blast, Biermann has yet to pay the law firm and is now being slammed by his own lawyer to cough up the money.

In the filing,  the lawyer claims Kroy owes $801.01 in unpaid fees and services with the firm -- and the amount can increase as there will be a monthly 1.5% interest rate on all amounts due until the firm is paid in full for legal services.

Although Biermann owes money -- it is hard to ignore the fact that the total is less than $1,000. The timing, however, is a bit ironic.

For those who don't know, Kim Zolciak just put her husband's shoe collection up for sale -- which she is selling for much more than he owes. Call the latest legal move a petty move, or a financially necessary move, but regardless, the new docs are turning heads.

The retired NFL linebacker recently filed for divorce from the reality TV star amid reported financial difficulties. Previously, The Blast reported that Kroy and Kim claimed that if they lost their home’s equity, it would be devastating for their family, including both individuals and their four minor children.

In the filing, obtained by The Blast, Kroy states, “The consequences of losing this equity would be devastating for my family, including myself, my ex-spouse Kim, and our four minor children.” The two share four minor children together, in which Kroy recently filed for primary custody.

The former NFL star also claimed in the lawsuit that if they lose the equity, “We would be left homeless, without financial resources, and unable to address the debts accumulated during our marriage.”

The lawsuit against their bank came after The Blast reported that the retired NFL linebacker and the reality television star listed their Milton, Georgia mansion for $6,000,000 –with several bedrooms, 11 bathrooms, a gorgeous pool in the backyard, a home gym, a movie theater, a wine cellar, a bar, and more.

As we reported, if the pair sold the mansion for the asking price, the profit would be significant, as they bought the place for $880,000 in 2012.

As we reported, the ‘RHOA’ star Kim Zolciak recently asked for her divorce to be called off with her husband claiming the two stars are still having s– regularly.

However, her estranged husband almost immediately shot down her request. Per our previous report, Biermann has described Zolciak’s initial petition as a “legal game,” adding that “the filing of motion is just another delay tactic in Respondent [Zolciak]’s playbook as indicated by her exclamation “I’m living here not going anywhere!”

The two now live in the same house but in separate rooms, per a judge’s court order. “Neither party shall enter the other party’s individually awarded space in the marital residence without permission,” the legal documents state, per our previous report. Although they will be sleeping in different rooms, they do have access to common areas like the kitchen and living room as a shared space.
