Comedian Andy Dick is a wanted man for allegedly failing to register as a sex offender after changing his home address.

According to legal documents, obtained by The Blast, Dick was charged with a crime by Los Angeles prosecutors for "Failure to file a change of address" in connection to his registration as a sex offender.

Specifically, Dick's charge is described as "A person who was last registered at a residence address pursuant to the Act who changes his or her residence address, whether within the jurisdiction in which he or she is currently registered or to a new jurisdiction inside or outside the state, shall, in person, within five working days of the move, inform the law enforcement agency or agencies with which he or she last registered of the move."

Court records indicate prosecutors filed the case on September 9, 2023, and an arraignment was set for October 11. But, records now show that there is a "warrant" for his arrest following the hearing. It's possible he skipped out on the hearing, which would result in a bench warrant.

We broke the story, Andy was required to register as a sex offender after being convicted of sexual battery, stemming from a 2018 incident in Los Angeles in which an Uber driver accused Dick of groping him. At the time, Dick was sentenced to 90 days in jail.

Also, the comedian was ordered to complete 52 Alcoholics Anonymous sessions, 52 sexual compulsion anonymous sessions, 12 mental health counseling sessions, and pay restitution to the victim.

As you know, as a part of the registration process -- sex offenders are required to give authorities their current address and update them if a move is made.

At this point, Andy Dick might have an excuse for his non-appearance. The comedian's attorney is currently asking for a hearing to be continued in a civil case he is fighting -- connected to something to do with health problems.

"Andy Dick is being sued for inappropriate conduct based upon criminal charges. Defendant Andy Dick was found guilty in the criminal trial, but since then the proceedings have taken a turn as described in the accompanying document filed under seal. Counsel recently was notified of his client’s health status. The health status is filed under seal accompanying this application," it reads.

In other words, a mysterious health condition is causing him to not be able to take part in court hearings. The details are filed under seal, so it's unclear what's the issue.

Unfortunately, this isn't the first time Andy has dealt with massive legal problems. In 2017, Dick was reportedly fired from the films 'Raising Buchanan' and 'Vampire Dad' for allegedly “groping people’s g---tals, unwanted kissing/licking, and sexual propositions of at least four members of the production.

The comedian was arrested and charged with felony burglary for allegedly stealing power tools from a home under construction. He pleaded guilty and was booked in Santa Barbara County Jail.
