Fans Unravel Timeline Of Taylor Swift And Joe Alwyn's Breakup After Jack Antonoff's Clue

Fans are revisiting Taylor Swift and Joe Alwyn's breakup after singer and producer Jack Antonoff appeared to drop a hint about the timeline of their relationship while speaking about her latest release.

Known for cryptically talking about her relationships and exes in her music, Swift's lyrics in the song "You're Losing Me" have led to speculations among fans that the track was referring to Alwyn.

The debate began when the Bleachers frontman shared a post on his Instagram Stories celebrating his new collaboration with the "Anti-Hero" singer.

Antonoff noted that the "very special track from the 'Midnights' sessions that's finally streaming" was "written and recorded at home on 12/5/21 after Taylor ate these raisins," posting a photo of Swift snacking alongside.

The song is thought to be about Alwyn, whom she broke up with in April. However, with the date Antonoff shared, fans attempted to solve the mystery surrounding the timeline of their breakup, with many noting that they ended things much earlier.

In the song, Swift sings, "throw[ing] out everything we built or keep[ing] it" and claims the mystery man "might have just dealt the final blow."

The song continues, "I glared at you with storms in my eyes / How can you say that you love someone you can't tell is dying? / I sent you signals and bit my nails down to the quick / My face was gray, but you wouldn't admit that we were sick."

Swift adds in the bridge that she "wouldn't marry [herself] either" since she's a "pathological people pleaser who only wanted" her significant other "to see [her]."

A fan wrote of Antonoff's hint, "You gotta listen to you're losing me, it's devastatingggg and she released it after Midnights as an exclusive tour CD after she and Joe broke up and Jack Antonoff just came on, and was like teehee this was actually two years ago and then logged off for the night."

Another fan said, "He's such a true bestie he's like don't get this twisted this man was doing her dirty for ages."

A third fan wrote, "This hurts my heart. How long was she hurting over this? Renegade is so obviously about Joe now that we see how clearly she was hurting. Joe Alwyn when I catch you."

She recently earned herself a cute nickname from her football-playing beau, as reports suggest Swift moved into Kelce's luxurious $6 million mansion in Kansas City.

Kelce called Swift "Tay" on the latest episode of his "New Heights" podcast with brother and Philadelphia Eagles center Jason. The pair were discussing an Instagram post that revealed Kelce had broken a record to become the fastest tight end to reach 11,000 yards following the game against the Las Vegas Raiders on Sunday.

Swift earned a shoutout from her boyfriend after he learned that she liked the post. "Thanks Tay. Appreciate you on the Chiefs page supporting. What's the next question?" Kelce said.

According to the Daily Mail, Swift and Kelce visited their friends Brittany Mahomes and her star quarterback husband, Patrick Mahomes, amid the singer's stay in Kansas City.

The "Blank Space" crooner reportedly moved into her boyfriend's $6 million love nest as she takes a two-month break from touring. She arrived separately from Kelce for their visit to the Mahomes with her security detail. Kelce, on his part, arrived shortly in his Rolls Royce Ghost wearing a red hoodie.

They spent several hours at Mahomes' home before Swift returned to her boyfriend's home. According to the news outlet, the visit may have been a celebratory one for their host's son, Patrick.
