Inside Taylor Swift & Travis Kelce's Double Date With The Mahomes

Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift met up with Kelce's teammate, Patrick Mahomes, and his wife, Brittany Mahomes, for a fun double date.

Patrick and Travis are close friends both on and off the field, as Travis was even a groomsman at Patrick and Brittany’s wedding. Taylor and Brittany have also grown close over the last few weeks.

The "Love Story" singer was the first to arrive at the Mahomes residence, with her security team. Kelce, who drove up in his Rolls Royce Ghost, showed up shortly thereafter.

Taylor and Brittany have grown close over the past few months, even attending Chiefs games together to cheer on their significant others -- plus, the two were seen sipping champagne during a party and taking photos together before Swift left for her international Eras Tour.

After hanging out for several hours at the Mahomes's residence, Taylor returned to Travis's new home by herself. Kelce traveled to his former home in the city's Briarcliff West neighborhood to allow the two to get some privacy and alone time, per DailyMail.

It is no surprise that the two decided to go their separate ways after spending an entire day together, as they are now moving into the "hard" part of the relationship, spending much more time together than in the past.

Now that Swift’s international Eras Tour leg has come to an end, a source close to the couple stated that the two “finally have the time and opportunity to spend some for real quality time together.”

“Taylor’s still smitten with Travis,” the insider recently stated. “But she realizes that the hard work in their relationship is about to start as they will be spending weeks at a time together. Up until now, it has been time snatched as they both have had such busy schedules.”

“Obviously those aren’t the things that a regular new couple would do in their first months together,” the source added, referring to the fact that Swift and Kelce are some of the biggest names in Hollywood right now and have extremely busy schedules. “But now Taylor and Travis can try to be as normal as their lives allow them to be,” the source added.

Brittany Mahomes and Taylor Swift have grown close over the past few months, even making up their own handshake — which they did in celebration of a Chiefs touchdown at a recent game. The two then took their relationship to the next level as they hung out outside of an NFL game and sipped champagne together in a nightclub.
