It's been eight months since Majors was charged with misdemeanor assault and harassment in connection with an alleged domestic dispute with Grace Jabbari. Today, he finally had his first day in court and came in tow with his girlfriend, Meagan Good, while holding a bible, per reports.

The couple was spotted holding hands as they entered the building, braving the camera flashes after getting out of a black vehicle. They reportedly started their relationship sometime around May, almost a year after Good finalized the end of her nine-year marriage to DeVon Franklin.

While Majors' innocence is yet to be proven, he has faced a cascade of consequences since his initial arrest. According to reports, the actor has lost numerous opportunities, amounting to millions of dollars, related to movie projects, per Deadline.

He was removed from an upcoming film adaptation of Walter Mosley's 2004 novel, "The Man in My Basement," a project he was set to executive produce. Additionally, negotiations for his role in a biopic about the late musician Otis Redding fell through, and he is no longer being considered for that film. It was also reported that Majors will no longer feature in an advertising campaign for the Texas Rangers MLB team.

Amid the loss of these projects, the public-relations company that represented the "Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania" star chose to sever its ties with him, and the same decision was made by his manager. The actor also stepped down from being a member of the Gotham Film and Media Institute board.

In the meantime, it is likely that the actor will not be accepting a plea deal during the proceedings. It stems from the fact that he has refuted the allegations against him and maintains that he is innocent.

"Jonathan Majors is innocent and has not abused anyone. We have provided irrefutable evidence to the District Attorney that the charges are false. We are confident that he will be fully exonerated," the actor's attorney, Priya Chaudhry, said in a statement to the press.

On the prosecution's side, it appears they will be building their case against Majors with the assistance of multiple alleged abuse victims. According to Variety, several women have come forward since his March arrest and are cooperating with Majors' prosecutors.
