Meri Brown never wanted to end her marriage to Kody Brown, but the reconciliation ship has long sailed.

Months after the "Sister Wives" co-stars announced the end of their over-a-decade, the patriarch's first wife has promised to use her voice to spread the truth behind the dissolution of her vows. Uh-oh! Better watch out, Kody, because Meri is ready to spill the tea, and viewers are here for it!

Meri Brown Wishes Kody Brown Had Addressed The End Of Their Relationship Sooner

When the reality TV star walked down the aisle with the polygamist 32 years ago, the Alameda native never expected her marriage to end on a sour note. Despite Kody's behind-the-scenes moves to dissolve the duo's bond, Meri hoped the pair would rise above the storm.

Unfortunately, the father of 18 remained adamant in his decision to split from the Lizzie's Heritage Inn founder — a stance his former wife wished he had publicly declared ages ago. In Sunday's episode of TLC's "Sister Wives: One on One Special," the entrepreneur confessed:

"He should have told me because I’m still sitting here holding onto the idea that maybe you might get your head out of your butt."

The mother of one also revealed some of the cons of her marriage to Kody, noting she could never meet the polygamist's expectations. "He would ask me to do things and ask me to be a certain way or ask me to fix a certain situation, but it's not good enough," Meri lamented.

However, Kody may regret how he treated the TV personality in the past, as the Alameda native promised to share the truth about their separation. In the teaser for the second installment of TLC's "Sister Wives: One on One Special," the former couple opened up about their failed marriage during their interviews with Sukanya "Suki" Krishnan.

According to the father of 18, Meri believed the former pair used to be "mad about each other." However, their romance eventually "played" out and reached its conclusion. In Krishnan's one-on-one sit down with the newly single 52-year-old, the interviewer asked: "Isn't it not about him hearing you? Isn't it about you being heard?"

Exuding confidence and a subtle air of indifference to her ex-husband, Meri revealed her plans to expose Kody. "Oh, my voice will be heard. I will no longer be silent," the bed and breakfast inn founder declared.

This was not the first time the businesswoman has refused to stay silent about her relationship with the polygamist. In an October episode of "Sister Wives," Meri recalled her disastrous anniversary celebration with Kody.

"'I have no desire, Meri, to have a relationship with you,'" the 52-year-old recounted their conversation at dinner following Kody's reluctance to mark their marriage milestone.

According to the TV personality, the patriarch wished to keep their discussion a secret, but she refused to hide the truth about his part in their separation. On the bright side, the patriarch's harsh words helped Meri realize her two options regarding their marriage. The LuLaRoe retailer said:

"Basically, to me, I see two options: continue living like I have for the past eight years or so, which is, you know, a freaking amazing, badass, independent person that is officially married to somebody but not emotionally, right?"

"And I can keep doing that. Or, I can terminate it. I can take the steps to move forward to be done with it," the entertainer concluded, hinting that she might grant Kody's wish to dissolve their relationship.

Meri Brown Accused Her Ex-husband Of Trying To Save Face In Their Separation

Days before TLC's "Sister Wives: One on One Special," viewers watched the media personality accept the end of her marriage to Kody following the unfair splitting of the family's Coyote Pass property. Tired of her former beau's poor treatment, Meri declared she might spend more time in Utah, saying:

"It's all coupled with everything else that's been going on and the statements Kody has made to me this year that I probably won't be renewing my lease here."

The reality TV star noted in her confessional that she could no longer tolerate Kody's inconsistencies and accused him of refusing to be accountable for ending their longtime union. In the social media personality's words:

"I don't like that he's putting all this on me, and he's also not owning that. He just doesn't have the interest. He said it to me in private, but he's still not saying it here."

Meri claimed Kody refused to be accountable for his part in the dissolution of the pair's marriage because he wanted to save face in public. Although the former couple disagreed about the culprit behind their separation, they agreed it was time their marriage ended.
