Kim Kardashian's New Comedy Film Will Stream On Netflix

After nearly a week-long intense bidding war involving theatrical distributors and streamers, Netflix emerged victorious, securing the rights to "The Fifth Wheel."

The bidding pool narrowed from five to three, with the subscription service clinching the deal right after Thanksgiving, winning over Kardashian and co-writers Janine Brito and Paula Pell.

The SKIMS co-founder is said to have been deeply involved in the sales process, including actively presenting the female-driven comedy at each meeting, attracting studios eager to collaborate with her.

The package is expected to flood the market within days as well. Thanks to the project's unique speed, Deadline noted, it has become the first major sale of 2023 just before the year ends.

Additionally, the outlet's sources have claimed that as a producer, Kardashian is expected to actively engage in the marketing strategy, showcasing a hands-on approach. Insiders also indicated that "The Kardashians" star's ad agency will collaborate with Netflix to amplify the promotional efforts for "The Fifth Wheel."

The business mogul has been working toward becoming a screen queen for years, having voiced two "Paw Patrol" films, and appeared in Tyler Perry's "Temptation: Confessions Of A Marriage Counselor" and "American Horror Story."

In fact, the budding actress received praise from fans for her standout performance in "American Horror Story," with her delivery of lines like, "Then tell the Daniels to suck my c---. She's not missing a press day for a f---ing commercial shoot," turning into a widely recognized catchphrase among internet users.

As reported by The Blast, the socialite dropped the iconic line as her character, Siobhan Corbyn, yelled into the phone before heading out to a meeting with client Anna Victoria Alcott [played by Emma Roberts].

"Dare I say, Kim was not bad. She delivered her lines pretty cleanly. She gave the character some life and wasn't as monotone as we're used to seeing her. Kudos," one warm reaction to Kardashian's acting read. Another person effused:

"Yessss b----!!! I been waiting on a good season of AHS and omg they delivered! Episode 1 was so good! Emma Roberts and Kim Kardashian were fabulous! Kim really ate that role up! She's giving Academy Award nominee."

Kim Kardashian Starred In The Second Installment Of 'Paw Patrol' With Her Children

Aside from stunning onlookers with her many skills, Kardashian has begun plugging her kids to money-making opportunities. Last month, The Blast obtained legal documents that detailed how much two of her children — North West and Saint West — earned from their voice acting roles in "Patrol: The Mighty Movie."

The papers noted that North, who portrays Pomeranian named Mini in the film, got paid $20,000 for four recording sessions that utilize her voice at $5,000 each. The contract permitted filming "behind-the-scenes" videos during these sessions for promotional use.

Meanwhile, Saint, portraying Meteor Max, is set for two recording sessions at $5,000 each, totaling $10,000. It is essential to mention that contracts for minors are submitted to the court to safeguard their earnings, with a judge ensuring fairness and balance in the agreements.

Since his age prevented him from signing independently, his mother signed Saint's contract on his behalf. The revenue source for the Kardashian-Wests involves posting two original promotional items on their social media, as stipulated in the contract.
