Paris Hilton Is 'Thankful' For Second Baby With This 'Iconic' Name

Paris Hilton is a proud mama bear for the second time!

The media personality had a pleasant surprise for her millions of followers when she shared the news of welcoming a baby girl with them on Thanksgiving Day. Once fans got over the shock, they began expressing their joy at the occurrence and even dubbed the heiress' choice for her newborn's name "iconic."

Hilton was beyond ecstatic to update her 25.5 million followers on the arrival of her daughter on Thursday. To that end, she joyfully disclosed the gender and name of her newborn by sharing a photo of a pink baby outfit placed on a similarly toned background.

The outfit included a cute pink dress that not only featured a bright collar and slightly flared sleeves but also had the name "London" written on its front. The other parts of the ensemble were pink bottoms, a brown teddy bear with pink ears and neckpiece, and pink-rimmed heart-shaped sunglasses.

In the caption, the 42-year-old superstar expressed her gratitude, writing, "Thankful for my baby girl." The post has accrued nearly 290k likes and thousands of comments from fans who felt just as happy as Hilton.

Focusing on the baby's name, one fan gushed, "Oh my God, Paris I know you've been planning on this name for years. Congratulations!!!," a second penned, "PARIS AND LONDON. ICONS," and a third added, "OMGGGG CONGRATS!!! Iconiiiiiic."

Hilton's surprising news comes just a little over a year since she took to X, formerly Twitter, to inform her supporters of her and her husband, Carter Reum, plans for their future.

"For those asking, my husband & I wanted to enjoy our 1st year of marriage as a couple & we we're planning on starting our family in 2023. IVF is a journey for everyone but we're so fortunate that we have lots of healthy embryos ready & waiting. Excited to become a mom in 2023!" the 2001 "New York's Leading It Girl" declared.

True to her word, she announced to the world in January 2023 that she and the venture capitalist had welcomed their first child, a son, via surrogacy.

As reported by The Blast, "The Simple Life" star shared the delightful news on Instagram with a sweet image featuring her hands tenderly cradling her newborn's hand. In the picture, the "Confessions of an Heiress" author's impeccably manicured nails were painted a light blue, and her son's hand securely grasped her thumb.

Hilton's announcement photo did not reveal the faces of either her or her child, making it impossible to determine the baby's gender. Despite that, onlookers were quick to draw a line between the color of her nails and the child's gender, claiming that blue is usually reserved for male kids.

The gender speculations were further aided by "The World According to Paris" star's inclusion of a blue heart emoji in her caption. It simply read, "You are already loved beyond words ?."

As expected, the announcement garnered swift and positive reactions from fans, friends, and colleagues, such as Chrissy Teigen, who congratulated her on the surprise news.

As for Hilton and Reum, the couple began their romantic relationship in December 2019. The M13 Ventures founder would then go on his knees to ask for the "I Am Paris" podcaster's hand in marriage on February 13, 2021.

The lovebirds wasted no time in making things official as they got married later that year on November 11 in a lavish ceremony held in Los Angeles.
