Dean DeLeo is the latest celebrity to land himself in trouble with law enforcement.
New claims have surfaced about the guitarist for the rock band Stone Temple Pilots facing allegations of getting violent with his wife, Jenn DeLeo, during a recent altercation. The dispute, as it turned out, resulted in him getting arrested and booked for felony domestic violence.
Jenn DeLeo Has Revisited Her Allegations Against Dean DeLeo Being Abusive
Although the DeLeo household has been reflectively quiet for the last few years, the tension has returned. In this new twist, Jenn has accused Dean of getting physical with her during an argument.
The drama began last month when the 1996 Elite "New Face" contest runner-up reached out to the police to report that her husband had left the house intoxicated, claiming that he was driving under the influence.
It did not take long before the officers found the musician, pulled him over, and arrested him for DUI. While in custody, Jenn swung into action a second time, contacting the police with accusations of an argument between her and Dean, leading to a physical altercation before he left the house.
After police took a domestic violence report from her and found enough evidence to book the "Stone Temple Pilots" producer for felony domestic violence, an emergency protection order was issued, instructing him to stay away from Jenn.
However, according to police sources, the 62-year-old violated the protection order a week and a half later by trying to contact the model. He then turned himself in for that violation and was subsequently released.
Amidst this unfolding drama, the New Jersey native filed for divorce from Dean. This will be her second divorce filing — the first was in 2018. Despite their reconciliation at that time, it's evident that the relationship remains tumultuous, with Dean telling TMZ:
"I look forward to having my voice heard at the appropriate time and place to address these allegations."
Jenn Previously Accused The Guitarist Of Nearly Killing Her & Their Child
Going into the details of Jenn's initial divorce, it was reported that she accused the "Seven Caged Tigers" hitmaker of being an abusive, drunken mess, causing her to fear for the lives of herself and their daughter, June.
The filing came just days after the rocker made violent threats, admitted to cheating, and told his wife to leave the house, all of which occurred in front of their then-six-year-old baby girl.

She alleged that Dean's alarming behavior began in 2012, shortly after they walked down the aisle and welcomed June. She contended that he started abusing alcohol and drugs, recounting an incident where he took their baby into the ocean "while he was completely inebriated," nearly causing her to drown.
Per the legal documents, Jenn asserted that months after the incident, the "Plush" artist had another drinking binge and physically assaulted her. She detailed that this occurred after she found him in the garage passed out with the car running and the garage door closed.
The "Glamour Magazine Diesel Adds L'oreal Hair" campaign star then asserted that when she woke him, he became angry, vomited, and then threw her around, nearly causing her death. Additionally, she claimed that he has attempted to strangle her on multiple occasions over the years.
Going even more profound, the actress declared that Dean was abusive to his son from a previous marriage and threatened to have his ex-wife killed, causing the latter to live in constant fear. She added that the "Church on Tuesday" singer's uncontrollable temper made her and June walk on eggshells.
In the papers, she attested to her husband threatening suicide if she left him, likening it to their personal friend, Chester Bennington, hanging himself. Dean allegedly assaulted Jenn once more before Thanksgiving 2017 when she confronted him about his extramarital affairs.
She stated that although she initially considered pressing charges, she refrained to avoid ruining the holiday, a decision she supposedly regrets. It's worth noting that the 46-year-old was one of film director James Toback's sexual misconduct accusers, and she credits the #MeToo movement for empowering her to file for divorce.
