Jordyn Woods Breaks Silence On Letterman Jacket Shade Rumor

Although it seems the rumors will never stop spreading, Jordyn Woods still wants nothing to do with the Kardashian situation!

The model recently became embroiled in shade rumors after proudly rocking a letterman jacket with a quote about her 2019 cheating scandal with Tristan Thompson. While many perceived the outfit as the media personality's clap-back at Khloe Kardashian, the 26-year-old claimed her intentions were pure.

The speculations about the Woods By Jordyn brand owner began after the caramel-toned beauty flaunted a new clothing design on her Instagram page. In the pictures, the entrepreneur rocked a custom black letterman jacket designed with yellow and white hues alongside a cashmere fabric and leather sleeves.

The outfit raised several eyebrows for the italicized quote that read, "I don't need your situation," an infamous line from Woods' 2019 tell-all interview on the "Red Table Talk" show. At the time, the entertainer addressed her cheating scandal with Khloé's ex-boyfriend and noted her innocence in ruining their relationship.

Naturally, bringing the quote back after four years confused fans, given its timing days after Thompson apologized to Kylie Jenner for ruining her friendship with Woods on "The Kardashians" series. While many assumed the influencer was dissing Khloé, the 26-year-old refuted the allegations on her Instagram Story.

The "Life of Kylie" alum re-shared a post about her rumored outfit alongside the words, "There's NO shade here, just a quote we can all relate to at some point."

In a second post, Woods revealed the inspiration behind her letterman jacket, tagging her basketball boyfriend Karl-Anthony Towns as the designer. The media personality declared:

"Not everything is shade, and everything's not that deep. It's almost 2024 y'all. @karltowns designed the jacket, and I love it."

For those who doubted Towns' part in the jacket's creation, his girlfriend re-shared his IG Story post about the custom outfit. The NBA star confirmed he designed Woods' jacket, raving about creating the yellow/black combo according to his hometown's colors.

As stated, the model cleared the air about her jacket claiming fans misunderstood her intentions. Many suspected Woods was dissing Khloé with the quote, while others saw it as revenge for all the times she was dragged on the family's reality TV series.

"She's probably upset they keep bringing her up in that d— show," someone claimed, with another agreeing: "They have been profiting off slandering her. They have mercilessly used her as a storyline. So she is equally returning the favor without needing to mention any of them."

"Message to Tristan since he wanna apologize to her now!" a third suspected while a fourth supported Woods' actions, writing: "It took that bum 4 years to apologize for that nonsense. Lmao, I hope she keeps wearing that jacket." A fellow supporter chimed:

"She ain't lie though!!! Nobody wants that situation. He can't stop cheating."

On the other hand, others called out Woods for being shady with someone advising the model to move on. "Tristan was the problem and had a sexaddiction, but if Jordyn was my best friend and admitted to kissing my sister's baby daddy and later making this jacket???? This is a no go. Just move on and make new memories."

Days before the viral jacket's appearance, Thompson owned up to his past mistakes on an episode of "The Kardashians." The NBA star sat down for a heart-to-heart conversation with Woods' former BFF Kylie about driving a wedge between the duo.

The Cleveland Cavaliers player noted that while everyone had been affected by his infidelity, the Kylie Cosmetics founder had been significantly impacted. The athlete reflected on how his actions damaged the media personality's friendship, saying:

"Like we've always had such a dope relationship, and everyone got affected differently, you know? But I think you were affected the most by the situation, with, you know, losing a sister basically. Like you lost Jordyn, who was a big part of your life."

Luckily for the basketball player, Kylie accepted his apology and assured him there was no bad blood with her former BFF. The reality TV star noted she used to be "codependent" on Woods, but the situation helped the pals' growth. In her words:
