Brad Pitt's son, Pax, labeled his father a "world-class a------" and accused him of making their family's lives a constant hell.
Pax highlighted Pitt's alleged terrible behavior and lack of empathy toward his siblings, in an unearthed Instagram post. The private Instagram account, confirmed as Pax's, is usually low-key about his parents, but not this time.
The tumultuous relationship follows Pitt and Angelina Jolie's split in 2016, marked by an alleged jet altercation involving Maddox and their other children. Pitt was cleared of child abuse charges, and Jolie cited family well-being for the divorce.
Brad Pitt And Angelina Jolie's Son, Pax, Called His Father A' World Class A--------'
Brad Pitt's son unleashed a scathing Instagram rant against him on Father's Day 2020, labeling his father as a "world-class a--hole."
In his tirade, Pax expressed how Pitt "made the lives of those closest to me a constant hell." He went on to challenge Pitt's public image, adding: "You may tell yourself and the world whatever you want, but the truth will come to light someday."
Pax didn't specify the triggering event for his rant but instead highlighted Pitt's recurring instances of terrible behavior and a lack of empathy toward his four youngest siblings.
He wrote, "You time and time and again prove yourself to be a terrible and despicable person. You have no consideration or empathy toward your four youngest children who tremble in fear when in your presence."
The 19-year-old continued: "You will never understand the damage you have done to my family because you're incapable of doing so."
Concluding with a sarcastic tone, Pax wished his father a "Happy Father's Day," punctuated with a blunt reference to the "Fight Club" star as an "f----- awful human being." Pax accompanied the scathing post with a photo of Pitt receiving an Oscar for "Once Upon a Time...in Hollywood."
Pax's Rant Was 'Unusual' As He Never Talks About His Parents
A reliable insider verified that the private Instagram account indeed belongs to Pax and that it was the "account he uses for friends – friends from school mostly."
The source told the Daily Mail that Pax "never says much about his parents, keeps himself to himself, so that was unusual."
Although Pax is the third adopted child of Jolie and Pitt, the youngest children he claimed that the actor made tremble are Zahara, 18, and the couple's biological children, Shiloh, 17, and twins Knox and Vivienne, 15.
In 2007, Jolie adopted Pax from an orphanage in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. At the tender age of three, Pax had faced abandonment as a newborn by his biological mother, who struggled with heroin addiction.
The subsequent year saw Brad formally completing the adoption process, officially welcoming Pax into their family.
'Brangelina' - From Fairytale Romance To Bitter Divorce
Jolie and Pitt first crossed paths on the set of "Mr. and Mrs. Smith" in 2005, a period when he was still married to Jennifer Aniston. While they insisted there was no infidelity, a photo capturing the lovebirds on a Kenyan beach with Maddox led to Aniston filing for divorce.
In 2014, "Brangelina" exchanged vows in a private 2014 ceremony in France, but their fairytale crumbled in 2016.
Following the separation, reports surfaced of a private jet altercation between Pitt and eldest son Maddox after he intervened and stood for Jolie during her dispute with Pitt.
Pitt later faced investigations by both the FBI and the Los Angeles Department of Children and Family Services regarding child abuse allegations after the alleged altercation with Maddox on a private jet. Five days later, the "Maleficient" actress initiated divorce proceedings.
Angelina Jolie Revealed She Ended Her Marriage To Brad Pitt For Her Family's 'Wellbeing'
At the time, sources alleged that Pitt was intoxicated at the time, stating: "There was an argument between him and Angelina.
There was a parent-child argument which was not handled in the right way and escalated more than it should have." When speaking to the authorities, Jolie said Pitt behaved "like a monster."
However, the "Bullet Train" actor was later cleared of all charges and went on to quit alcohol and cannabis use. In September 2016, he was spotted attending an Alcoholics Anonymous meeting.
While the former couple hasn't publicly addressed the incident, Jolie shared with Vogue in 2021 that ending the relationship was a decision made for her family's "well-being."
She emphasized her commitment to their healing, stating: "It was the right decision. I continue to focus on their healing. Some have taken advantage of my silence, and the children see lies about themselves in the media, but I remind them that they know their own truth and their own minds."
The A-list actress added: "In fact, they are six very brave, very strong young people.'
