Selena Gomez In String Bikini Celebrates 'Exciting Things Coming'

Selena Gomez gained instant approval from fans as she stunned the camera in a multicolor string bikini in March. The singer and actress updated her Instagram in swimwear just two months after getting body-shamed for her Mexico bikini snaps, and it looked like she just didn't care about the haters.

Sizzling in a banded two-piece as she posed in front of a huge mirror, Selena showed off her gorgeous figure and a blonde hairdo, also using her post to hint at "exciting" things to come. Selena's post has now topped a staggering 22 million likes, with celebrity love coming in from stars including Paris Hilton and Blake Lively.

Mixing up sexy and cute, Selena confirmed that her snap was a throwback. It showed the Only Murders in the Building star stripped down to a colorful La'Mariette bikini in purple and red prints.

Posing from a room lined with makeup brushes and cosmetics, the Rare beauty founder knocked the camera dead with her curves, showing off her healthy figure and a summer-ready tan. Selena had opted for a bikini with a horizontal midriff band, here drawing attention to her gym-honed abs and curvy hips. The ex to Justin Bieber also flashed a decent amount of cleavage as she went plunging at the neckline.

Rocking platinum-blonde locks worn down, Selena completed her beach-ready look via a warming face of makeup, wearing a matte layer of foundation and discreet cheek bronzer, plus a nude lip. In a caption, Selena told her IG fans: "TBT to blondie sel. Summers coming! So many exciting things coming!"

"Gotta keep an eye out for Selener!" one fan replied. "I love that picture so much you killing me with your Beauty," another said. Some fans, however, threw shade at model Hailey Bieber. The photo came as Selena continued to make headlines for her alleged feud with the Rhode skincare founder. "Hailey can't have this gorgeous body like Selena does," one fan replied.

Selena is known for addressing social media hate, particularly when it proves toxic to others. Speaking to Vogue in February of this year, she revealed:

“I tend to hold a lot of water weight and that happens very normally, and then when I’m off it I tend to kind of lose weight,” continuing: “I just wanted to say and encourage anyone out there who feels any sort of shame for exactly what [you’re] going through, [when] nobody knows the real story… you’re beautiful and you’re wonderful.” Here, Gomez was referring to the side effects of the medication she takes for her autoimmune disease, Lupus.

Confirming she's just a regular girl, Selena added: “Not a model, never will be. Thanks for supporting me and understanding and, if not… go away. Because honestly, I don’t believe in shaming people for [their] body or anything.”
