One of the last Instagram posts from the pop star was a throwback dancing video was last April, in which she revealed that she would be "holding back" on her social media use. “I probably post too often so this month I’m holding back a touch and I’m gonna post some past and future posts !!!” Britney wrote in the caption. “This was in April … hope you guys are having a lovely week 🌷🌷🌷 !!!”

On Sunday night, the Princess of Pop took to Instagram to share a video that featured her pole dancing in a drawstring bikini. Her close friend and longtime manager, Cade Hudson, can be seen in the background of the video. On Saturday, the two had been photographed going out to dinner in West Hollywood along with her dog, Snow.
Britney set the music in the video to her song "Breathe On Me." In the caption, she explained a little bit of her thought process as to why she doesn't usually use her own songs on Instagram.
"I never play my own songs on Instagram and I’m honestly not sure why … I guess I was pissed to actually even try after 13 years to even suggest what I really wanted … Even after all the up family shows in Vegas … America can always catch me up on the street trying to find sneakers !!!" she wrote in the caption. "
"Well it’s a little different dancing to my own song for the first time DOWN here in h--- with most !!! Breathe on me only if you have good breath !!! I wanted to share for the first time me messing around with my song !!!" she continued, adding, "Ps yesterday ✅"

In a message posted both to X and Instagram only a few days before her memoir was released, the "Stronger" singer emphasized that her memoir had given her "closure" and hope for a "better future" as she looked forward to a "beautiful clean slate" going forward.
"My book's purpose was not to offend anyone by any means !!! That was me then ...that is in the past !!!" she began. "I don't like the headlines I am reading ...that's exactly why I quit the business 4 years ago !!! Most of the book is from 20 years ago ... I have moved on and it's a beautiful clean slate from here !!!"
"I am here to establish it that way for the rest of my entire life !!!" she continued. "Either way, that is the last of it and s--- happens !! This is actually a book didn't know needed to be written ... although some might be offended, it has given me closure on all things for a better future !!!"
"Hopefully I can enlighten people who feel particularly alone in most cases or hurt or misunderstood !!! Again, my motive for this book was not to harp on my past experiences which is what the press is doing and it's dumb and silly !!!" she concluded. "I have moved on since then !! #TheWomaninMe."

Celebrities like Margot Robbie, Brad Pitt, Reese Witherspoon, and Shonda Rhimes have all been rumored to be trying to secure the rights to Britney’s memoir in order to turn it into a movie or a documentary. Later reports indicated that Shonda Rhimes is no longer interested in securing the rights to the book, much to the disappointment of fans. The driving force behind "Grey's Anatomy" and "Bridgerton" had written the screenplay for Britney's 2002 movie "Crossroads."
According to The Ankler, the bidding range is somewhere in the “mid-eight figures range.” Margot Robbie, coming off the success of “Barbie,” is looking to adapt the memoir through her LuckyChap Productions company. Brad Pitt’s Plan B Entertainment production company and Reese Witherspoon’s Hello Sunshine are also looking forward to securing the rights to Britney's memoir, although it appears that the pop star is in no rush to adapt her best-selling book into a visual medium just yet.
One insider told Page Six that the project is "only beginning to take shape" and noted that the "Girl In The Mirror" singer had already rescheduled a meeting with an unnamed top producer "at the last minute" because she "didn't feel up to it." A producer who previously worked with the Princess of Pop told The Ankler that Britney “doesn’t give a s--- who you are,” adding, “She’s always been that way. It’s just Britney.” However, producers are reportedly being "extremely compassionate" considering the sensitive nature of her memoir.
Britney Spears' memoir "The Woman In Me" was officially released on Tuesday, October 24, 2023.
