A 10-year-old boy was fatally attacked by aggressive monkeys, resulting in torn intestines. The incident marked the third attack by the notorious monkey gang in a week. Efforts to capture them are ongoing.

India has grappled with such incidents, including a captured "world's most wanted monkey," but it's not the only place plagued with monkey crime. There was a separate case where a monkey abducted a three-year-old in China. Another parent suffered a monkey bite while defending his child.

In a tragic incident near a temple in Salki, Gujarat, a 10-year-old boy named Dipak Thakor was brutally killed by a group of aggressive primates.

The boy and his friends were playing near the temple when the monkeys attacked, and one monkey inflicted fatal injuries, tearing out his intestines. Despite being rushed to the hospital, Thakor passed away before receiving medical attention.

While speaking to a local news outlet, authorities reported the gruesome details of the attack, emphasizing the severity of the injuries sustained by the young victim. 

"His intestine was ripped out in the attack. He rushed to his house and was taken to a hospital where doctors declared him dead on arrival," they said, per Daily Mail.

Addressing the local media, an officer reported the alarming frequency of monkey attacks in the village, revealing that the recent tragedy marked the third attack by the notorious monkey gang in the week.

Forest official Vishal Chaudhary also shared that he and his team have been actively working to capture the aggressive primates. "We have rescued two langurs in the past one week, and set up cages to trap another langur," he revealed. 

"There is a large troop of monkeys in the village, including four adults who have been involved in attacks in the past week. Two of them have been rescued. Efforts are on to cage another," Chaudhary added.

Langurs, typically non-aggressive, can exhibit aggression in all-male groups, influenced by dominance and mating dynamics. Previously, Delhi officials utilized cut-outs of langurs during the G20 summit, and "monkey-men" mimicked langur sounds to deter the primates from approaching international figures.

India has faced ongoing challenges with dangerous primates, with a recent incident involving the capture of the "world's most wanted monkey."

This notorious primate had a reign of terror, attacking 20 people over two weeks in Madhya Pradesh's Rajgarh town. In an attempt to solve the issue, a bounty of Rs 21,000 (£200) was placed on the monkey's head, leading to its eventual capture in June. 

According to NDTV, to capture the criminal animal, the rescue team utilized a drone to track the monkey, subsequently tranquilizing it with darts before safely securing it in a cage.

In a separate incident, a defenseless three-year-old was kidnapped by a monkey, which subsequently carried her up a cliff. This alarming incident took place in Liupanshui, southwest China, while the toddler's parents were occupied working in a nearby field.

The child's father, Liu, recounted the sudden disappearance, stating, "It was just a minute, and when I turned around, the child was gone. We were all very anxious." He added: "The child's mother started crying immediately, and I comforted her while contacting the police."

Additionally, another parent, Riley Whitelum, had a harrowing encounter when he had to fend off an aggressive monkey attempting to snatch his one-year-old son. During the face-off with the animal, the father suffered a severe bite, necessitating a 20-day regimen of injections to prevent potential rabies infection.
