Tristan Thompson is owning up to his mistakes and clearing the air about allegedly ruining Kylie Jenner and Jordyn Woods' friendship.

The NBA star drove a wedge between the then-BFFs after making a move on the "Grown-ish" actress despite dating Khloé Kardashian in 2019. The fallout was far from pretty, but the basketball player is finally ready to hash out his differences with the Kylie Cosmetics founder.

It took four years to get an apology, but Kylie Jenner and Jordyn Woods have finally received an overdue offering of remorse from Thompson. Although the model was not present when the Cleveland Cavaliers star addressed his mistakes, his words will reach her ears as it occurred on the latest episode of "The Kardashians."

Thompson's apology to Jenner happened during the duo's heartfelt conversation about the cheating scandal. While the Canadian sensation had repeatedly cheated on the beauty mogul's sister, his most famous affair was likely the kiss that occurred with Woods.

The "Keeping Up With The Kardashians" alum did not deny the impact of the infidelity on her longtime friendship; however, she addressed the situation from a positive angle. Instead of blaming Thompson and Woods for their actions, the 26-year-old noted the scandal supported the former BFFs' growth. In Kylie Jenner's words:

"I appreciate that. I think I was so codependent with Jordyn that I could've never imagined my life without her. We would've probably still been like living together. And I think she needed to grow without me; I needed to grow without her. But, you know, Jordyn and I are cool. Like, we still talk and catch up. We're good."

The mother-of-two's words came after the former Los Angeles Lakers player reflected on the consequences of his actions. According to the McDonald's All-American honoree, while everyone had been affected by his infidelity, Kylie Jenner had received the short end of the stick. In the basketball player's words:

"Like we've always had such a dope relationship, and everyone got affected differently, you know? But I think you were affected the most by the situation, with, you know, losing a sister basically. Like you lost Jordyn, who was a big part of your life."

Thompson stressed that he understood how deep the relationship between Jenner and Woods was, describing them as "two peas in a pod" before apologizing for destroying that bond. The 32-year-old said: "So the fact that I put myself and her in a situation that wasn't right and wasn't smart made it tough for you and Khloé."

"Because, at the end of the day, you have your best friend, and then you have your sister, who you love more than anything else. So, it's 100% on me. But I wanna say I'm sorry, and I feel bad about it," the Big 12 Freshman of the Year honoree continued, blaming his poor decisions on being "a f----- idiot and just being young and stupid."

Additionally, his apologies were extended to Woods, whom he hoped Jenner would tell about his remorse. Thompson stated the model must have gone through various challenges after the scandal and once again acknowledged his responsibility for ruining the pair's friendship.

According to a source, "Jordyn reached out to Kylie to apologize for how everything went down and let her know that she loves her."
