Kyle Richards is making her feelings known to trolls with the most to say about her broken marriage!

The reality TV star and her now ex-husband, Mauricio Umansky, announced their separation after 27 years as a couple in July. However, they have remained cordial and continue co-parenting their children. The whole process has been riddled with controversies, especially when she described it as a "straight-up divorce" while her husband said they are "fighting for this."

Kyle Richards Insists She Is Not Chasing Clout With Her Marital Troubles

The 53-year-old sat with Alex Baskin on Tuesday and spoke about the current situation in her marriage. She also addressed reports that she is merely making up stories about her failed marriage to boost her ratings and remain in the news and said:

"What human being would create a story like this for? No offense, Alex. I love you and everybody with the show. But who would do that for ratings? Put their family through this."

Richards described the news as "one of the dumbest things" she has heard in 13 years and added, "I'm going to pretend that I'm separated and torture my children so that people tune in? I mean, it's just the dumbest thing I've ever heard."

While she admitted to caring about being relevant to her friends, family, and career, pulling stunts with divorce is a line she will never cross. Richards added that the claims are annoying and frustrating, which is just one of the numerous things she has heard about herself and Umansky.

"I also hear a lot of things online that, you know, 'Oh, well, Kyle and Mauricio, they have an open marriage. The things that they say, that Kyle is only with him for the money. He had no money when I married him, you id—ts," clarified Richards.

The mom of three disclosed on the "Bravo's Hot Mic" podcast that the money people think she married Umansky for belongs to both of them as he was not financially buoyant before they got together.

The Blast recently reported that despite confirming their separation, Richards and Umansky have no plans in place for divorce yet. An insider revealed that the couple wanted space to explore individually, and there are neither plans to divorce or reconcile.

"Look, they may get back together, but they may not. They just don't know right now. They will decide at some point whether they stay married, but not now," the source added. This statement, however, negates Umansky's claims of fighting for the marriage when asked what to expect in the new season of their show. In his words:

"The reality is… we are officially separated, but we’re not throwing in the towel. We’ve been married for 27 years, 26 amazing years. Kyle is my best friend; she’s an amazing human. I love her… And marriages go through difficult times, sometimes, and that’s what we’re dealing with right now."

Richards also admitted to being responsible for ending their 27-year union in a recent appearance on "Watch What Happens Live With Andy Cohen."

Kyle Richards & Mauricio Umansky Have No Prenuptial Agreement

Aside from not settling for a divorce yet, the estranged couple reportedly have zero prenup agreement, which may be the reason for stalling the process. The former pair are yet to get lawyers despite showing interest in making their divorce official, but a bitter battle for assets is inevitable should they follow that route.

The Blast shared that Umansky's net worth is estimated to be a whopping $100m with nearly $5B in real estate sales, all of which he earned during his marriage to the reality star.

The 53-year-old made little income in the fashion industry before heading into the real estate business and even worked for Richards's father, Rick Hilton, right before launching The Agency in 2011.

Richards is also worth around the same from her TV career on "TRHOBH" during her marriage to Umansky. While they have stayed civil throughout the separation announcement, Richards could not hold back tears as she spoke on the split at BravoCon last weekend.

Umansky seems calm about the situation and has even been spotted enjoying his partner Emma Slater's company.
