A new report suggests that Taylor Swift is willing to 'shake off' her ongoing Eras tour for Thanksgiving!
In case you are asking —the answer is no — the sensational singer-songwriter's worldwide tour will not be canceled for the holiday. However, the "Bad Blood" hitmaker is using the break between her concerts to commemorate the special day with her loved ones.
Taylor Swift Is Reportedly Coming Home For Thanksgiving
The 40-time American Music Award honoree will reportedly travel home for the upcoming Thanksgiving celebrations despite her ongoing Eras tour. The "Cruel Summer" songstress will be making a quick trip back to the United States before rushing back to Brazil for her next concert.
The blonde beauty's journey home amid her tight schedule will likely strain the entertainer significantly. However, hosting a concert the day after the holidays is not enough to deter the media personality from celebrating Thanksgiving with her family.
Swift, currently abroad, will return home for the celebrations on November 23 after blessing foreign fans with her presence in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, on Sunday. Following Thanksgiving, the 33-year-old Pennsylvania sensation will travel out for her performance in São Paulo on November 24.
The "You Belong With Me" singer's plans, as shared by PageSix, did not reveal a place for the Billboard Women in Music honoree's boyfriend, Travis Kelce. The Kansas City Chiefs player's part in Swift's Thanksgiving celebrations is unclear, given the athlete's upcoming match.
The NFL superstar's team is scheduled to battle against the Raiders on Sunday, November 26, in Las Vegas. This tight window may not allow Kelce to bond with his girlfriend's family over the holiday. But missing Thanksgiving did not overshadow the duo's touching moments with their loved ones.
Since they began teasing fans with their blossoming romance, the power couple have debuted close bonds with their partner's family. The "Blank Space" hitmaker started the public display of affection by attending her boyfriend's games with his mother, Donna Kelce.
Days earlier, the athlete's mom returned the favor by supporting Swift's record-breaking movie, "Eras Tour." Donna's appearance at the small theater in Florida was confirmed by the TikToker Dannielle Sparks, who claimed she saw someone who resembled the Kelce family's matriarch. In the media personality's words:
"I was like, 'Wow, I never seen someone be such a close doppelganger to Travis Kelce's mother.' You see where this is going."
Sparks' suspicions about the woman's identity were not confirmed until she bumped into Donna in the restroom after the movie ended. "Oh yeah, I am, but I'm just a mom," the matriarch said after the influencer noted she looked a lot like the famous athlete's parent.
"It was Travis Kelce's mother in the theater with us the whole time, and no one even knew," the TikToker raved, describing the interaction as "the greatest moment of my life." Additionally, Sparks lauded Donna with praises, calling her the "sweetest human ever" and noted she happily took a picture with the media personality.
"I need to send this to Travis," Sparks recalled Donna telling her after helping the matriarch and friends take a picture with a cutout of Taylor Swift outside the theater. The athlete's mother also informed the influencer that she owns the songstress's 1989 cardigan in her wardrobe, proving her status as a Swiftie.
Taylor Warns Fans About Throwing Things On Stage
The "I Knew You Were Trouble" artist was forced to educate fans about proper concert etiquette after an audience member threw a gift on the stage. The incident came months after other singers had been hurt by items hurled by excited fans.
The 33-year-old had been performing a song on the piano when her set was interrupted by an object thrown on stage. The item, which many eyewitnesses claim was a bra, did not sit well with Swift, and she immediately called out the offender. The Pennsylvania native said:
"And just because communication means having gentle, healthy boundaries — it really freaks me out when stuff gets thrown on the stage."
The Bravo Otto award recipient stressed that her concern was not solely for her well-being but for those around her. "Because if it's on the stage, then a dancer can trip on it," she explained. "I love that you brought presents, and that is so nice, but just can you please not throw them on the stage?"
"I love you so much," the media personality concluded her speech. The video of the "Look What You Made Me Do" singer's interaction with fans generated numerous positive reactions on social media. "She's so respectful," a Swiftie chimed.
"I love her. We have to keep her safe," another agreed with a third writing: "I hate that she has to be super polite about it bc then the crazy fans will be mad like??? It should be common sense to not throw ANYTHING."
