Chris Appleton Files For Divorce From Lukas Gage After Seven Months of Marriage

Chris Appleton is ending things with Lukas Gage less than a year after they walked down the aisle.

According to legal documents obtained by The Blast, Appleton, who is well-known as Kim Kardashian's hairstylist, filed for divorce and wants the court to terminate the ability of either party to pay spousal support.

In the case filed at the Superior Court of Los Angeles, Appleton filed for a dissolution of his marriage to Gage after just six and half months of being husband and husband based on "irreconcilable differences."

The docs listed their date of separation as October 11, 2023, and their marriage date as April 22, 2023.

Recall that the pair tied the knot in a secret ceremony that was officiated by the celebrity hairstylist's famous boss, Kim Kardashian. Their ceremony was even documented on the family's hit show, "The Kardashians."

Appleton and Gage have no children together, so there will be no issues of a custody battle or child support. As for spousal support, the famous hairstylist is asking the court to terminate the ability for either spouse to be awarded support.

The "White Lotus" actor and the hairstylist have an ironclad prenuptial agreement as stated in the document. Regarding the separation of their assets and debts, Appleton wants to execute it "pursuant to the parties' Prenuptial agreement executed May 3, 2023. All assets and obligations of each party are his separate property."

The same goes for the rights to the community property and assets attained during the course of their short-lived union. Appleton also wants attorney fees to be paid by both him and Gage.

Gage and Appleton first sparked romance rumors in February after they posted about a joint trip to Mexico and got flirty with one another in the comments.

In no time, they went public with their relationship, making their red carpet debut at the Vanity Fair Campaign Hollywood and TikTok Celebrate Vanities: A Night For Young Hollywood event. The former lovers rocked matching white and black outfits, adding more fire to the romance rumors.

However, during a New York Times interview published the day after, Appleton became cryptic about his love life when asked about their flirty Instagram posts. "If they want to think that, they can. I'm a pretty open book about most things in my life, but I have a problem with the culture of everyone needing to know everybody's business and nothing can be sacred," he said of fans' interest in his love life. "It's a weird line that I'm still trying to figure out."

Finally, during an appearance on "The Drew Barrymore Show," the creative director for the haircare brand Color Wow confirmed he and Gage were an item. "I'm very happy. Very much in love, and I feel very grateful to be able to share my time with someone very special," he told Drew Barrymore. "Love is a really special thing, and I think meeting someone you connect with is really, really special."

The "Euphoria" actor shared a similar sentiment during his appearance on the Today Show weeks later. "I feel very happy, very lucky and very much in love. He's a good-looking man. Something about being in London, I got a taste of the Brits and couldn't help myself," Gage said of his partner.

In April, Gage and Appleton sparked rumors of an engagement, with sources close to them telling People Magazine, "Friends in their circle are definitely shocked at how quick it happened, but they're happy for them. They seem like the real deal."

Shortly after their engagement, Appleton and Gage walked down the aisle in a super secret ceremony held in Las Vegas. The now-estranged couple flew to Sin City, joined by none other than Kardashian, who used her famous private jet, Kim Air, for the trip.

The pair exchanged vows at the Little White Chapel in Vegas, with Kardashian officiating the ceremony. Following the wedding, the group watched Shania Twain, who serenaded the couple with her hit song "You're Still the One" while on a stage decorated with colorful lights.

The duo rocked matching fur jackets for their nuptials, with Appleton sharing details of the ceremony on Instagram with the caption, "We did it ? Big thank you to @kimkardashian & @shaniatwain."
