Kendra Wilkinson's Emergency Room Visit And Marriage Difficulties
As mentioned earlier, the reality star went to the clinic after she was unable to sleep due to a panic attack, which led to a series of treatments that went on for almost two months. Following the news, her rep disclosed that Wilkinson struggled with personal issues, business problems, and parental responsibilities, which weighed her down mentally.
She appeared in desperate need of treatment upon arriving at the emergency room in the company of her ex-husband, Baskett, who remained by her side as the doctors attended to her.
Before her admission, Wilkinson confessed to being in a difficult state after her failed marriage to Baskett and the end of her hit reality show on E! She admitted that both events blindsided her and caused her to slip into depression as she said:
"I went through a divorce and lost everything I knew, which was my TV show. I had a TV show every year until my divorce. Then my divorce happened, and all of a sudden, now I’m left with no marriage, I’m left with no show, I had to move into a little house. I didn’t understand what was going on, and all of a sudden, I had to do some intense healing."
Per The Blast, the former couple went their separate ways in 2018 and finalized their divorce in 2018. Her show also ended in 2017, followed by four excruciating years of struggling to get used to life without cameras. According to her:
"For years, I didn’t have fame. I didn’t have everything I knew for a long time. I didn’t know who I was. I was so lost."
Wilkinson continued that it was impossible to be happy after she lost her show, but she found a new sense of purpose in her kids. She also discovered her passion for real estate during her moment of intense healing and connecting with her children.
The real estate mogul, however, returned to television in 2021 with the "Kendra Sells Hollywood" show. She previously announced that she had made a move to become a certified real estate agent in 2020 and wrote:
“What I’ve been working on during quarantine finally paid off by passing my California real estate exam on the first try. Kids n couple friends rooting for me!!! Was so nervous i couldn’t even sleep one minute but I did it and now I can breathe and celebrate my hard work. Hahaha.”
The show's second season premiered on HBO Max on May 26, 2023, with no plans yet for a third installment.
