Travis Kelce Meets Taylor Swift's Father For The First Time Over Steak Dinner In Argentina

Pop star Taylor Swift introduced her boyfriend, Travis Kelce, to her father, Scott Swift, during a luxury steak dinner at a high-end restaurant in Buenos Aires. 

It comes after Kelce took a 14-hour flight to the Argentine capital to support Taylor, who is currently performing in her sold-out Eras Tour. 

The singer was forced to cancel her second performance in the city due to unfavorable weather conditions, as she noted she'd never endanger the lives of several swifties.

The "Shake It Off" hitmaker and the Kansas City Chiefs tight end have been dating for a few months now and seem to be going strong. They have been spotted together on several occasions, including at his football games, where Taylor was seen cheering him on.

During the steak dinner, which lasted several hours at the upscale Four Season's luxury restaurant in Buenos Aires, the couple enjoyed a steak dinner alongside Taylor's father, Scott, where he reportedly met Kelce for the first time, per the Daily Mail.

Taylor looked stunning in a gray skirt with a black scoop neck top and a black Prada handbag, completing the look with black boots. Kelce appeared casual in a patterned shirt, khaki shorts, and white sneakers.

She has already met both of Kelce's parents, especially during games where she was pictured hugging his mother, Donna, and chatting with his father, Ed.

According to the news outlet, Taylor and Kelce were treated to a guard of honor by not less than six of the restaurant staff during their romantic dinner in Buenos Aires. The couple, who have been dating for five months now, were cheered on by several diners as they exited the venue, holding hands lovingly.

The couple were reportedly delighted with the treatment and were happy to chat with staff for several hours. They enjoyed some of the finest cuts of steak and local wines, with top steaks going upward of $75.

Fans of the singer were thrilled to see them together and rushed to take photos and videos of them as they exited the restaurant. Her father also walked quietly and kept his head down as he joined them towards the exit door.

As reported by The Blast, the "Midnights" hitmaker, who is in the city for a leg of three performances on her Eras Tour, has postponed the second performance due to bad weather. 

Taylor had her first performance on Thursday night and was scheduled to go again the next day, but was forced to cancel it after the city was hit with monsoon-like conditions with rain and lightning.

In an Instagram post, she informed her fans of the change in schedule despite many already traveling to the venue to watch her perform, as she noted that she wouldn't want to endanger the lives of her fans.

"I love a rain show but I'm never going to endanger my fans or my fellow performers and crew," Taylor shared in her statement. "We've rescheduled tonight's Buenos Aires show for Sunday due to the weather being so truly chaotic it would be unsafe to try and put on this concert. Good news is I get to stay in Argentina longer!!"

Since they began dating, Kelce has yet to witness Taylor's electrifying stage presence but is expected to end the wait soon.

The star athlete is currently on a two-week break from his busy schedule with the Kansas City Chiefs and took a long 14-hour flight from Kansas City to Argentina to support his girlfriend. 

According to reports, he left Kansas City at 11 pm Thursday and made an hour's stop in Panama City to refuel before flying into Buenos Aires at 2 pm local time on Friday afternoon.

His arrival into the Argentine capital city came after the first leg of her performance on Thursday night, and with the rescheduled date, the anticipation of seeing her captivating performances and hearing her powerful vocals in person continues to build.

It remains to be seen how he will make it to her performance on Sunday, as he's expected back in Kansas City the same day ahead of training on Monday. An insider who spoke to Page Six shared that he "has to be back on Sunday for practice on Monday."
