On Friday, the “Blank Space” singer revealed that she is going to reschedule Friday’s concert to Sunday due to the inclement weather in the area. She took to Instagram Stories to announce the postponed concert date only hours before she was slated to perform at Buenos Aires’ Estadio River Plate.

“I love a rain show but I’m never going to endanger my fans or my fellow performers and crew,” she wrote. “We’ve rescheduled tonight’s Buenos Aires show for Sunday due to the weather being so truly chaotic it would be unsafe to try and put on this concert. Good news is I get to stay in Argentina longer!!!”

Sabrina Carpenter, who is opening this part of the “Cruel Summer” singer’s global Eras Tour, also reposted the message to her Instagram Stories, adding, “See u tmrw/Sunday. Buenos Aires. Be safe!”

The Stadium Taylor Was Supposed To Perform At Seems To Be Flooded

Some fans were disappointed that the show was postponed because the “Love Story” singer had performed in the rain before. However, one user took to X, the social media platform formerly known as Twitter, to show that the stadium was flooding shortly before the performance was scheduled to begin.

The "Look What You Made Me Do" singer began the Latin American part of her Eras Tour on Thursday. All three shows are taking place at the Estadio River Plate in Buenos Aires. Although Friday's concert stop has been moved to Sunday, it looks like the concert scheduled for November 11, 2023, will proceed as planned.

Taylor Swift Sang 'Labyrinth' For The First Time

On Thursday night, the "You Belong With Me" singer revealed that she was switching things up for the Latin American tour. In addition to some new outfits, she also played the song "Labyrinth" live for the first time.

Fans posted videos to X that show her singing, "Oh no, I'm falling in love again. Oh, I'm falling in love..." Many fans attributed the addition of the song to her budding relationship with Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce. Travis was not in attendance for Thursday's night show, but he has reportedly touched down in the country on Friday.

Although he was not in attendance on Thursday night, sources had told Page Six earlier in the week that he was definitely planning to attend one of Taylor’s shows in Argentina during bye-week before he had to get back to Kansas City for practice on Monday.

Even though it remains to be seen if he’ll be in attendance for her Saturday concert, the NFL player did attend one of her shows in Kansas City before they became involved. In July, he told his older brother, Jason Kelce, on his “New Heights” podcast that he tried – and failed – to give Taylor his phone number after the concert.

“I was disappointed that she doesn’t talk before or after her shows because she has to save her voice for the 44 songs that she sings,” he said at the time. “So, I was a little butthurt that I didn’t get to hand her one of the bracelets I made for her.”

“She doesn’t meet anybody — or at least she didn’t want to meet me,” Travis added. However, many fans are glad that Taylor seems to have changed her mind!
