Megan Fox Leaves Little To The Imagination To Promote Her New Poetry Book

Sporting her same dark roots but a short red bob, the 37-year-old actress took to Instagram to promote her new book in a thin brown tank top. Fans who swipe through the carousel can see that she is not wearing anything underneath the thin fabric, which she matched with a dark skirt. The final slide of the carousel featured an illustration of a woman’s full chest as she sat on the ground with a see-through robe draped over her shoulders.

“An author,” she wrote in the caption. “My book is out. Link in bio.” Although some fans gushed over her thin shirt and fit figure, there were a lot of comments made about her hair. “I swear any look, any hair color, etc. is perfection on you,” one fan commented. “You keep inspiring me to be a more authentic me on the outside not just inside. You're a powerful woman. A Warrior,” another follower shared.

“My favorite actress, model, and now human. I'm proud of you, Megan, for the woman you are, for the courage you have, I felt your pain from those poems, I felt my heart break and my body shiver, so much that I wanted to hug you,” a third fan chimed in. “Thank you for giving us this part of you so private, especially to us women. You are an example to all of us, you are every woman in this world. I love you so so much and I hope you’re living your best life today, I wish you only the best.”

‘Pretty Boys Are Poisonous’ Explores Her ‘Horrific’ Past Relationships

In an interview with Good Morning America that aired Tuesday, the “Transformers” actress opened up on some of the “horrific” relationships that she has had in the past.

"This is not an exposé that I wrote or a memoir. ... But throughout my life, I have been in at least one physically abusive relationship and several psychologically very abusive relationships," she said.

"I have only been publicly connected to a few people, but I shared energy with, I guess we could say, who were horrific people. And also very famous — very famous — people," she continued. "But no one knows that I was involved with those people."

The actress shares three children with her ex-husband Brian Austin Green. She is currently engaged to musician Machine Gun Kelly. During the interview, she revealed that MGK, born Colson Baker, was one of the people who actually encouraged her to publish some of her poems. However, she decided that there were some that she decided to keep private, at least for now.

"Some of it is too much when you’re a known person," she explained. "If I had the freedom of just being a poet and people not really wanting to dig too much into my personal life, I would have included more entries like that."

In another portion of her book, Megan wrote two poems about an ultrasound of a baby girl at ten weeks which resulted in a miscarriage. In addition to highlighting domestic abuse in a previous relationship, the “Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles” actress told People magazine that the book’s subject matter “comes from a lot of places.”

"Some of it is literal, while other parts are allegorical. Some poems contain a Grimm ’s-fairy-tale-type element, and others serve the same purpose as memes in online culture," she explained, adding, "All of it is something women can relate to."
