Lori Harvey & Damson Idris Officially End Their Romance: 'We Part Ways Remaining Friends'

After a whirlwind romance that has certainly kept their fans entertained and speculation about a breakup, Lori Harvey and Damson Idris have finally confirmed the rumors and called it quits! 

The “Snowfall” actor and the fashion icon were first rumored to be an item in December last year and have kept their romance relatively low-key with rare public sightings in each other’s company.

Things started on a high for the couple when they were spotted exiting a West Hollywood restaurant together last December, sending the internet into a frenzy of romantic speculations between them.

However, they confirmed the news on social media when Idris shared a picture of them in a warm embrace at the model’s 26th birthday dinner on his Instagram Story in January.

The actor also planted a kiss on the cheeks of the model as he wrote “Happy Birthday Nunu” with a love emoji. Harvey also reposted the picture and added three white hearts.

The 26-year-old who broke things off with Michael B. Jordan in June last year had previously revealed plans to focus on herself for a while in an interview where she said:

“This moment is about me, I feel like it’s always been [about] me attached to something or someone. This time, it’s about me. Self-love, self-care, self-reflection. I’m being a little selfish right now. It’s my time.”

However, by the time the interview was released, Harvey and Idris were already an item, and the actor did not hesitate to congratulate his new beau on making the cover of the magazine.

All that is in the past now as fans' were once again shocked when a copy of Harvey and Idris' joint statement surfaced online, confirming rumors of a breakup that had filled the air days before. The statement to The Hollywood Reporterread:

"We are at a point in our lives where our individual paths require our full attention and dedication. We part ways remaining friends with nothing but love and respect for each other and the time we shared together."

Back in February, the couple celebrated their first Valentine’s Day together, and Idris quickly dripped hints about their first meeting and how long they’ve kept the fire burning. Harvey, in true celebrity fashion, shared a picture of a note she got from Idris alongside candles, red roses, and designer gifts. She added:

"I realized it has been exactly 100 days since your beautiful silver dress. Thank God for that dance. Every day since with you by my side has been my favorite movie. I can’t wait till we hit 1000 months. Happy Valentine’s day, baby. I love you. LUURVE."

Speaking of the silver dress, it meant that they met at Odell Beckham’s Jr. 30th birthday party, where Harvey was pictured wearing a chic silver dress. The celebration did not end there as the pair headed out for dinner in a short clip shared by the “Outside The Wire” actor, which showed them looking in love and completely smitten with each other.

The name of the restaurant even matched Harvey’s pet name, which the actor coined specially for her.

A sucker for unique dates and showing off, the couple turned the heat up in Disneyland back in August and shared all the details on their social media. Harvey donned a gorgeous jumpsuit from her brand “Yevrah Swim” with an open back that showed off her insanely toned back muscles and arms and paired it with a gray Chanel bucket hat.

The model looked excited as she posed in front of the Sleeping Beauty Castle and showed off soft stuffed toys of Disney characters. She also displayed a plate of funnel cake with powdered toppings and a charming view of Disneyland City Hall with a shot of her getting on Disneyland Fire trucks.

They took one more trip to the stall of Wetzel’s Pretzels, and the model did not forget to take a picture with her beau, who wrapped his arm around her. Idris looked super cute in a white T-shirt and pants ensemble, which he paired with a small black Prada crossbody bag.

The Blast shared that the couple’s Disneyland adventure comes on the heels of a short summer vacation in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico. Harvey sure shared a handful of pictures from their romantic voyage and flaunted her perfect body in her newly launched swimwear collection.
