Priscilla opened up about her choice not to remarry following the end of her six-year marriage to the King of Rock and Roll.

"I just don't think that he could handle that," she said of Elvis, to whom she was married from 1967 to 1973.

Even though Elvis passed away in 1977, Priscilla upheld that promise for the past four decades.

"To be honest with you, I never wanted to marry after him. I never had any desire," she expressed. "No one could ever match him."

Priscilla further clarified why she and Elvis decided not to have more children after the birth of their daughter, Lisa Marie Presley, in 1968.

"Elvis felt he had a very busy schedule, and he did have a bit of guilt that he wasn't around that much when Lisa was younger," she recalled.

Priscilla also noted that with "scheduling and his touring," the late rock icon "felt he wasn't around enough to give a lot of attention to having another child."

While Priscilla didn't remarry, that doesn't mean she hasn't experienced love with anyone else since Elvis. She has, in fact, been in several relationships with men from various backgrounds, though notably, none of them have been rock stars.

Despite the former couple projecting an image of perpetual happiness to the outside world, they encountered numerous challenges behind closed doors. Elvis' reported affairs were extensively documented and, unsurprisingly, eventually led to the breakdown of their marriage. However, Priscilla, by her own admission, also acknowledged her own infidelity.

In her memoir, the actress admitted to having an affair with Mike Stone, a martial arts guru known for training with legends like Chuck Norris and Bruce Lee. She revealed that Stone instilled in her a "new confidence" she hadn't experienced before. However, when she disclosed the affair to her husband, Elvis, he reacted with anger and reportedly expressed a desire to have Stone killed.

Priscilla later verified this during an interview with Barbara Walters.

"At that time, he wanted that to happen," she acknowledged. Fortunately, those close to Elvis were able to dissuade him from pursuing such drastic actions, and The King eventually relented, stating, "Aw hell. Just let's leave it for now. Maybe it's a bit heavy."

In 1975, Priscilla dated British celebrity photographer Terry O'Neill, as confirmed by The Times.

According to British media, Priscilla and Terry O'Neill's relationship was frequently disrupted by jealous calls from her ex, Elvis, who would phone them at all hours. The couple decided to end their brief fling after just two months together.

One of Priscilla's most surprising romances was with Robert Kardashian, the controversial defense lawyer in O.J. Simpson's murder trial. After a breakup with Kris Jenner, he fell for the actress.

Despite their strong connection, Priscilla declined Kardashian's marriage proposal, citing, "I'm not marrying anyone until Elvis dies."

Elvis was reportedly jealous, expressing concerns for their daughter, Lisa Marie.

Priscilla then went on to date model and actor Michael Edwards for about six years, hairdresser Elie Ezerzer for two years, and film producer and entrepreneur Marco Garibaldi for over two decades.

During a conversation with British journalist Piers Morgan for TalkTV, Priscilla revealed that Elvis' sudden death at the age of 42 continues to deeply affect her even after all these years. She recounted the vivid memory of Elvis's road manager, Joe Esposito, breaking the devastating news to her over the phone.

"I can still hear Joe Esposito's words, 'Cilla, Elvis is dead,' and that was like, I just couldn't imagine him ever, especially at his age and all, still so young and wanting to do so much and had so much planned, and not having him, not talking to him, not having him be the father of our child," she said.

Priscilla also reflected on her "big fear," which was breaking the news to her daughter, Lisa Marie, who was only 9 at the time.

Priscilla also shared insights into what initially attracted her to Elvis, highlighting his sharp sense of humor. The two first crossed paths at a party in West Germany in 1959 when she was 14 and he was 24.

"He would walk into the room and it was like, 'Whoa,'" Priscilla said of Elvis. "I mean, he didn't realize what he had as far as his appearance or what he felt or his charisma, but there was a few times when he came around and he said, 'D--n, I'm good looking,' kiddingly, when he would be in his bathroom and he would be getting ready to go somewhere, but he had a great sense of humor."

Priscilla fondly recalled Elvis as remarkably caring, recounting an incident when he spotted a woman at a car dealership in Memphis admiring the automobiles. In a spontaneous act of generosity, he surprised her by purchasing a brand-new blue Cadillac.

"That's him, that's what he would do," she declared. "Anyone in trouble, he would give them money. Anyone who had a problem, with anything really and they couldn't afford it, even with some of the guys who needed medical care, he would pay for it."

Elvis and Priscilla's legendary romance is portrayed in the new biopic "Priscilla," which debuted in theaters on Friday. Directed by Sofia Coppola, the film features Cailee Spaeny and Jacob Elordi in leading roles.
