'Sister Wives' Kody Brown To Take ANOTHER Stab At Reconciliation With Janelle

Kody Brown is not giving up on the chance of reuniting with his ex-wife Janelle Brown!

After months of separation and multiple failed attempts to win back his former spouse's heart, fans would think the patriarch's desire for a reconciliation would have diminished. However, the 54-year-old recently expressed he wanted another chance to charm his ex in the latest episode of "Sister Wives."

But does Janelle feel the same way?

On Sunday's episode of TLC's reality TV series, Kody visited Janelle's new apartment in another attempt to get closer to his ex-wife. The patriarch's polygamous lifestyle began with four wives, Christine, Janelle, Meri, and Robyn; however, he is currently left with Robyn after separating from the other three women.

While the TV personality did not seem interested in rekindling his romance with two of his former spouses, the 54-year-old has actively tried to win back Janelle's heart. Unfortunately, his efforts were not yielding the results he wanted.

During his visit to his ex-wife's apartment, the father of 18 confessed he would never have a place in the home, saying: "I'm not even welcome here, I don't think. That's why it's so awkward." In the episode's confessional, the polygamist explained his poignant words stemmed from his repeated failed attempts to reconnect with Janelle.

According to Kody, the mother of six of his children was not interested in having a relationship with her co-stars Robyn and Meri. The 54-year-old confessed to being heartbroken over Janelle's indifference but stressed his willingness to continue pursuing his ex-wife. In the reality TV star's words:

"It's sad, but it's unwound. I can't get the puzzle pieces back together, but I'm going to ask her again next week if we might be able to reconcile. And it's painful every time. Maybe I should get more serious about it, but every time, it's like, 'Nope.'"

Kody added that he was uncertain if he felt "shy" about the situation because of Janelle's rejections or because a part of him was "kind of happy" about not the duo's failed reconciliation. "I don't know how to define the relationship, but I feel pathetically that she commonly rejects me," the 54-year-old admitted.

On the other hand, Janelle aired her suspicions about Kody's reconciliation attempts. According to the mother of six, she did not believe her ex-husband's actions were genuine but his way of trying to make his polygamous life "run smoothly." The real estate agent said:

"When reality is he's never come to me and said, 'Hey, I love you, I miss you. I want to get this back together.' It's always about, don't you want to get the family back together so that his life can run smoothly again? And I'm done with that. I really am."

This was not the first time Janelle has echoed her disinterest in Kody's advances. Last month, the patriarch tried to rekindle their romance by taking his former wife on a romantic dinner date for her birthday. Unfortunately, the night ended poorly when the 54-year-old tried and failed to get a goodnight kiss.

The rejection shocked Kody, who retorted, "I don't know why we can't reconcile. So we had a bad fight, we've had worse. So we're separated, we've had other separations." However, Janelle fired back: "You know, there just isn't anything there anymore. There just isn't. Our relationship has been unraveling for years."

Weeks before revealing his determination to continue pursuing Janelle, Kody accused his former spouse, Christine, of undermining his reconciliation efforts. During the "Sister Wives" episode in October, the patriarch opened up about his rocky relationship with his ex-wives.

Despite describing his only wife, Robyn, as the love of his life, the reality TV star stressed that he wished to reunite with Janelle. Although the pair remained cordial with each other and frequently spoke on the phone, the entertainer believed his chance of reconciling with his former spouse required Christine out of the picture.

"Christine has so much influence over Janelle, I just think it's pathetic," the father of 18 claimed. Surprisingly, Kody refused to share his concerns with Janelle, noting that he was "afraid Christine will find out about it or if the kids will find out about it." The 54-year-old added, "It's like, I just don't want to talk about me."

Additionally, the "Sister Wives" star expressed confusion over Janelle's refusal to reconcile with him after years of accepting the polygamous union that birthed their hit TLC series. Janelle entered a spiritual marriage with Kody on January 20, 1993, becoming his second wife at the time.
