Continuing her message, she encouraged others not to give up on themselves and to remain true to who they are.

"A little adviceā€¦live inside your dreams and move through them. Don't give up on yourself because someone else did. Stay true to YOU. It has worked for me in this chaotic life thus far. The Time Jessica Simpson Felt 'Terrified'

In Simpson's 2020 memoir, "Open Book," the actress recounted the pivotal moment when she realized the need to reduce her alcohol intake. She revealed that after a few drinks at a Halloween party, she became disoriented and was unable to attend to dressing her children -- Maxwell "Maxi" Drew, 11, Ace Knute, 10, and Birdie Mae, 4.

Simpson shared how "terrified" she was of her kids seeing her in that situation.

"I am ashamed to say that I don't know who got them into their costumes that night," the star wrote.

Simpson also recounted, "Giving up the alcohol was easy. I was mad at that bottle. At how it allowed me to stay complacent and numb."
