Al Pacino and his girlfriend, Noor Alfallah, have reached a settlement regarding child support for their son, and he is paying a pretty penny.
According to legal documents, obtained by The Blast, Pacino agreed to pay Alfallah a large 5-figure sum every month to support their son, Roman.
As we reported, the couple welcomed their son in June and got into a legal battle after Alfallah filed for physical custody of their child.
Al Pacino Reaches Child Support Settlement With Girlfriend Noor Alfallah
Alfallah and Pacino "have reached a compromised amount of child support in the interests of a peaceful resolution and consistent with their desire to maintain an amicable relationship for the best interest of their minor child," the agreement reads.
Interestingly, Noor Alfallah will have primary physical custody of their infant son. It reads, that Noor "shall have primary physical custody of Roman, subject to (Pacino's) reasonable rights of visitation with and access to Roman on such dates and at such times to be agreed upon by the Parties."
But, they will share joint legal custody of Roman. In exercising joint legal custody, the two of them "shall consult with one another on all major decisions relating to Roman’s health, education, and welfare."
Now, this is a first. The deal states that any permanent alterations to the mind child's body, including tattoos, need to be mutually agreed upon. In other words, little Roman will have to clear it with his famous dad before getting some ink!
Al Pacino Must Pay $30,000 Per Month Plus 6% Of Annual Income
Beginning on September 1, 2023, and continuing on the first day of each month thereafter, Al Pacino must pay his girlfriend monthly child support for Roman, the sum of $30,000 per month.
In addition to the base monthly child support, Al Pacino is obligated to pay an additional 6% of his "annual gross income” over $2,500,000 per calendar year, commencing with the calendar year 2023. In other words, if he makes a bunch from a movie in one year, he will pay substantially more.
The "Once Upon A Time In Hollywood" star must maintain and pay for the existing health insurance coverage for Roman that is available to him through his employment.
But, that's not all because the docs also state that Al Pacino shall pay 100% of Roman’s mutually agreed upon extracurricular activities and lessons pursuant to the parties’ prior, written consent, plus he must pay $26,000 for a "night nurse" for their son.
Al Pacino will contribute $20K toward attorney fees.
Visitation and Custodial Schedule Of Al Pacino's Son
Regarding the visitation rights of Roman, Al Pacino and Noor Alfallah, "shall continue to cooperate in good faith concerning Pacino's visitation with and access to Roman to ensure that he has frequent and continuing contact with Roman."
It continues, "Neither Party shall make derogatory or disparaging remarks about the other to or in the presence of, or within the hearing of Roman and shall remove Roman from the presence of third parties who are doing so."
Both Al Pacino and Noor Alfallah are permitted to "attend and observe Roman’s extracurricular activities, regardless of the custodial schedule."
