The Blast recently reported that movie star Al Pacino is agreeing to keep his ongoing custody battle over his newborn son private, and out of the public courts.

Per our previous reports, legal documents, obtained by The Blast, state that the ‘Casino’ star "signed off on a stipulation allowing the case to be heard by a private judge."

Now, legal documents state he is paying a massive amount for a private judge to help win his legal case.

According to documents obtained by The Blast, the temporary judge's authority will terminated on December 31, 2023 -- unless there's a court order extending the temporary/private judge's authority.

We previously broke the story that Al Pacino’s girlfriend filed for physical custody of their son, Roman, hinting that a fight was bound to happen. The legal filing asked that Pacino be given “reasonable visitation” for the newborn baby.

Judge's fees, which are $950 an hour plus any additional fees on the attached Rate and Fee Schedule, shall be advanced by Al Pacino,

The professional fee ($950/hr) applies to mediation proceedings within Los Angeles County. For information on travel rates, please contact the Case Administrator. A half-day session includes up to four (4) hours of hearing time and up to one (1) hour of preparation time. A full day session includes up to eight (8) hours of hearing time and up to two (2) hours of preparation time. Any additional time is billed at the applicable hourly rate. Full day sessions with more than two (2) parties will incur an additional half (.5) hour charge of preparation time per additional party. Half-day sessions with more than two (2) parties will incur an additional half (.5) hour charge of preparation time per additional party. Please note that the parties are responsible for time reserved. Unused hearing time is non-refundable.

Last month, Noor Alfallah shared the first photos of their newborn son on Instagram, writing, “My whole heart and the greatest blessing in my life. Roman,” she captioned the picture holding her baby’s hand.

Al Pacino also shares 22-year-old twins Anton and Olivia with his ex, Beverly D'Angelo, and daughter Julie Marie, 33, with his ex-girlfriend, acting coach Jan Tarrant.

The legal custody case is still going on.
