Sofia Vergara Suns Her Buns To Fight 'Unprotected Sun'

Sofia Vergara turned heads as she went topless and rocked only a G-string for a show-stopping Instagram snap this week. The sitcom star, 51, thrilled her fans with a jaw-dropping rear view as she stripped right down, showing off her famous figure in throwback mode and also delivering a safety message.

Shouting out sun protection as she promoted her sunscreen brand, Sofia sizzled with her buns on show, and fans are loving it. Sofia kicked off her career as a swimwear model back in the 1990s. While fans don't think she's aged a day, they're equally happy to be treated to a little throwback action.

Flaunting her toned buns and slender back, Sofia posed back to the camera and likely in her twenties.

Soaking up rays from a beach as she overlooked a shore, the former ABC star wowed in a beyond-tiny, bejeweled thong, also going fully topless. Wearing only a silver bead necklace up top, Sofia highlighted her killer curves while leaving very little to the imagination, although she didn't break any of Instagram's rules.

Gazing to the side as she showed off a sunkissed face of makeup, Sofia also rocked her hair down and straight as she kept her look simple. In a caption, the Modern Family star wrote: "The reason why I'm religious now about using Transforma at 51? All those years of unprotected sun in the 90’s !!! @toty ☀️ #tbtmiami." Here, the actress had shouted out her sunscreen brand Toty.

Fans are going nuts. One user told Vergara that she's going "to break the internet." Another, meanwhile, wrote: "I’m very surprised 51 i can’t see it. I wish I wills have taken better care on myself, working 2 miles under ground beat me up, now I’m definitely starting to feel it."

Nobody seems able to believe that Sofia is 51. "Then and now she’s still looking amazing AF! Whew," a third user said. Sofia is getting sassy with her business-drive posts, though. The days of delighting fans with her bikini snaps are over. This post drove fans to check out Toty, with others this fall doing the same as the star promotes her clothing collections with retail giant Walmart.

Speaking to Harper's Bazaar as buzz for her brand intensified, Sofia revealed:

“I grew up in very tropical weather in Barranquilla, Colombia, and there was no one ever telling you, ‘Don’t get sunburn’ or ‘Don’t tan,’” adding: “I wish I had made that decision sooner also for the rest of my body, but I didn’t. I just thought to save my face, and that was it. So, I haven’t had my face in the sun without protection since the ’90s."
