Actress Denise Richards is trying to prevent her daughter Sami Sheen from getting breast augmentation surgery.
The "Wild Things" star shares two children with her ex-husband, "Two and a Half Men" actor Charlie Sheen. Sami joined OnlyFans on her 18th birthday, prompting Denise to join the controversial subscription-based platform shortly thereafter to show her support. However, it seems that the 52-year-old actress does not support her 19-year-old daughter getting breast augmentation surgery.
Denise Richards Does NOT Want Sami Sheen, 19, To Get Breast Augmentation Surgery
Both Denise and Sami recently sat down with Bustle to talk about the cosmetic procedure. Sami, for her part, indicated that she has always wanted breast implants. “I was 10 years old and like, ‘I can’t wait to have big boobs like my mom,’” Sami explained. “All my friends were getting boobs, and I was just like, ‘OK, when’s it my turn?’ I would always stuff my bra with socks and stuff.”
Denise said that she also had a small chest when she was growing up. “I was made fun of as a teenager [because my boobs] were mosquito bites. I got them done at the same age Sami is wanting to get them done,” she said. However, she also told the outlet that she plans to get her own implants removed eventually.
“I’m trying to talk her out of it because, and the reason why I’m getting them out, is I didn’t know how toxic [they are] when I was 19,” Denise added. “And it’s not an easy surgery. It’s painful!”
Sami Sheen Says That Breast Augmentation Surgery Might Save Her Life
As The Blast previously reported, Sami went on TikTok in September to reveal that she has been struggling with vaping. She needs to stop in order for the surgery to be performed, leading her to ask her followers for support. She admitted that she's "never spoken" about her struggle to stop vaping because she likes to keep her life "private" but admitted that she needs the support now.
“Basically, I have been vaping for five years. I’ve been addicted to nicotine for five f—king years,” she told her followers. “I’ve tried quitting multiple times. It’s really f—ing hard. I ordered this book called “How to Quit Vaping” by Allen Carr. Have I started reading it? No, because I don’t want to quit.”
She went on to say, “Like, realistically, I do want to quit because I know I’m going to be so much healthier and live longer because of it, but I just don’t want to deal with it. I’ve just been putting it off.”
“The time has come where I have absolutely no choice, and I have to quit. Soon,” she said, revealing that the surgery is scheduled before the end of the new year. “I’m already getting anxiety, okay? I have not gone a single day in the past five years without this motherf—ker,” she said as she held up a silver vaping pen.
“I think me getting my boobs done is honestly gonna save my life, because it’s forcing me to quit this. So, at least we have that,” she admitted. “I’ve debated on postponing my surgery just because I’m too scared to f—ing quit nicotine.”
Sami said that she is "terrified" of throwing up and has already tried fidget toys, lifesavers, and lollipops, to no avail. She asked her followers for suggestions on how to quit. In the caption, she added, “Please don’t be mean #help, #quitting, #vaping, #fyp."
Charlie Sheen Opens Up On His Daughter's OnlyFans Career
Although Denise Richards joined OnlyFans to show her support, Charlie Sheen has always been much more skeptical. “I had a knee-jerk reaction to it because of the reputation that preceded it,” he told Bustle. “I was just like, ‘Oh, this can only go bad.’”
However, it looks like he has since warmed up to the idea. “She’s doing this and it can only be a much more successful and pleasant experience with the support of myself, her mom, and others,” he explained. “I have to have confidence and just know in my heart that all of her virtues and all the wonderfulness that makes her, her, come with her.”
The 58-year-old actor also talked about how Sami Sheen came to live with him in 2021, when he was trying to get sober. "What she had the benefit of, and I had the uber benefit of, was she was there towards the end of my drinking,” he said. “She got to see up close and personal that journey.”
Although Charlie admitted that he is “not a guy that preaches [or] that needs constant attention or support of what [he’s] doing,” he did say that he is happy that Sami “got to see the benefits of just how a life together in that domestic reality can improve so completely and stay that way.” He added, “She got to see an inconsistent me become the most reliable person in her life. Of course, it wasn’t a plan. The universe had us together when it did, which is pretty amazing.”
