As fans of "Friends" star Matthew Perry come to terms with the reality of his passing, some others are seeking more supernatural ways to find comfort and answers.
A paranormal TikToker recently shared a lengthy conversation he claims was between him and the late Perry. The 25-minute-long clip reveals intriguing messages that are allegedly from the dead actor who is now on "the other side."
Paranormal TikToker Shares Alleged Chat With Matthew Perry
Josh Hope, who is known for his videos where he contacts dead celebrities from the afterlife, reached out to Matthew Perry seeking answers about his demise.
Hope shared a chilling video in which he's seen making contact with entities he calls "guides," who then proceed to connect him with Perry. The medium started by asking how Perry was doing and if he was able to communicate, to which the actor replied, "Yes sir."
Hope further inquired, "Now that you are on the other side, how do you feel?" To this, Perry's alleged ghost responded, "Miss slowly. I am homesick."
Hope reassured Perry that it's his "job" to speak with the dead, adding, "You are loved. You will be missed. Many people are devastated by your loss at 54 years old, and I wanted to give you a real chance for you to be able to speak and share some of your thoughts and offer you help in any way, even if it's just a prayer from a fellow, you know, recovering alcoholic and addict."
The medium then asked a hard-hitting question; he said, "Can I ask you what happened to you? Did you have a heart attack?" Perry replied, "Hittin' the balls... killed me."
Josh Hope's Paranormal Video Links Perry's Death To Pickleball
The chilling question about Perry's death led to a brief period of silence before the medium got a response from the "other side," which linked Perry's death to a game of pickleball.
As we previously reported, Perry was found dead in his backyard after engaging in a 2-hour game of pickleball. There were no illegal drugs found at his home, but there were prescription pills, which included anti-depressants.
At the moment, his official cause of death is still being investigated. However, initial toxicology reports have shown that there was no fentanyl or meth in his system at the time of his death.
In the video, the medium, Hope, questioned Perry's alleged spirit about his final Instagram post, an eerie image of the actor in a jacuzzi against the backdrop of a dark-blue night sky. He also asked the late star if he felt "any pain" before he died. To this, Perry responded, "was scared."
Other parts of Hopes's chat with Perry's alleged ghost included discussions about their shared history with alcoholism and substance abuse.
Matthew Perry's Alleged Spirit Says He'll 'Miss' His Fans
In another interesting part of the video, Hope asks Perry's alleged ghost if he has anything to say to his fans, who are heartbroken by his passing. Perry allegedly replied, "I will miss them."
The late actor's fans from around the world recently flocked in numbers to New York City to pay tribute to him.
They gathered at the apartment building where his character from "Friends," Chandler Bing, resided, with letters, flowers, notes, and pictures in hand.
Fans React To Josh Hope's Paranormal Chat With Matthew Perry
Of course, several fans of Perry expressed skepticism over the paranormal video, with some stating that there's no way it's the actor on the "other side."
Other fans who believe in the supernatural noted that it was too early to establish contact with Perry after his recent death, adding that things like this take time.
One fan said, "Never believed that these are the actual spirits of who they say they are. Just my opinion."
Another wrote, "There are people that actually knew him and loved him, I hope they don’t come across this."
A third person noted that the medium might be talking to something else entirely, writing, "I was told people who died can't come through straight away; they go into a period of dream state first for awhile."
"I don’t really believe in all of this but it’s given me some level of comfort, so thank you for that," a fourth person commented.
