John Stamos Shares Rare 'Friends' Moment With Matthew Perry

John Stamos is breaking his silence on the tragic passing of Matthew Perry, sharing a rare story on their friendship.
As previously reported, Matthew Perry’s body was discovered on Saturday evening, in his jacuzzi. At this time, the cause of death is believed to be drowning, but the autopsy report is expected to answer more questions.
John Stamos' Heartfelt Goodbye To Matthew Perry
John Stamos starred in an episode of "Friends" titled "The One With The Donor". Stamos plays Zack, a coworker of Chandler's (Matthew Perry). Chandler and Monica (Courteney Cox) invite Zack over for dinner to interview him as a potential sperm donor, however, Zack did not know that is why he was invited over, making for an awkward, yet hilarious interaction.
But, what many fans don't realize is that Matthew Perry and John Stamos were friends long before he appeared on an episode of "Friends"; So when Stamos guest-starred on "The One With The Donor", the two hung out backstage a lot.
After the "Full House" actor learned of Perry's passing, he took to social media to share a rare, behind-the-scenes story. "Matthew and I had been friendly long before 'Friends', So, when I guest-starred as Zach, the prospective sperm donor for Chandler and Monica, I hung with him a lot," Stamos wrote.
"Standing backstage, ready to make my entrance, Matt whispers, 'The audience is going go crazy when they see you! Get ready for some loud screams.' I walk through the door… silence. I was so embarrassed."

Stamos continued to tell the story. "We finish the scene and as I start to slither back to my dressing room and quit showbiz, Matt walks over to the studio audience: 'Ladies and gentlemen, give it up for John Stamos! You guys probably didn’t recognize him at first because it’s so much better looking in person!'."
"I never forgot that and the world will never forget you. #ripmathewperry," Stamos concluded.
Fans Brought To Tears From John Stamos's Story
After reading John Stamos's story, fans immediately flooded the comments section.

'Friends' Cast Says Goodbye To Matthew Perry
Matthew Perry played the iconic character, Chandler Bing, for 10 seasons on the hit sitcom “Friends,” and his co-stars recently addressed his death. After the main cast learned of Perry’s tragic passing, the five co-stars released a joint statement.
“We are all so utterly devastated by the loss of Matthew. We were more than just cast mates. We are a family,” their statement read. “There is so much to say, but right now we’re going to take a moment to grieve and process this unfathomable loss.”
As we reported, police responded to a 911 call reportedly to assist with a possible ‘water rescue’ at Perry’s Pacific Palisades home. When the first responders arrived, they found the 54-year-old “Friends” actor in his hot tub, unresponsive. He is believed to have drowned, but an autopsy and toxicology reports will be able to answer more questions about his true cause of death.
“In time we will say more, as and when we are able,” the statement from the "Friends" continued. “For now, our thoughts and our love are with Matty’s family, his friends, and everyone who loved him around the world.”
The message is then signed by Jennifer Aniston, Courteney Cox, Lisa Kudrow, Matt LeBlanc, and David Schwimmer.
