Kroy Biermann and Kim Zolciak have just filed a new legal case, claiming they could be left 'homeless' if their home is foreclosed on and they lose equity.
According to legal documents, obtained by The Blast, Biermann and Zolciak claim that the consequences of losing their home's equity would be devastating for their family, including both individuals and their four minor children.
Kroy Biermann and Kim Zolciak Worried About Homelessness
According to new documents obtained by The Blast, their newly listed home could go into foreclosure, which is the "legal process that allows lenders to recover the amount owed on a defaulted loan by taking ownership of and selling the mortgaged property." Biermann and Zolciak are now filing a lawsuit against their bank in an attempt to keep their home from being foreclosed on.
In the filing, Kroy states, "The consequences of losing this equity would be devastating for my family, including myself, my ex-spouse Kim, and our four minor children." The two share four minor children together, in which Biermann recently filed for primary custody.
The former NFL star claimed in the new lawsuit that if they lose the equity, "We would be left homeless, without financial resources, and unable to address the debts accumulated during our marriage."
The latest lawsuit against their bank comes after The Blast reported that the retired NFL linebacker and the reality television star listed their Milton, Georgia mansion for $6,000,000 --with several bedrooms, 11 bathrooms, a gorgeous pool in the backyard, a home gym, a movie theater, a wine cellar, a bar, and more.
As we reported, if the pair sold the mansion for the asking price, the profit would be significant, as they bought the place for $880,000 in 2012.
Kim Zolciak and Kroy Biermann Ordered To Live In Different Rooms
In an attempt to keep their divorce from getting ugly, a judge recently ordered Kim Zolciak and Kroy Biermann to live in separate corridors while they remain under the same roof, per The Blast's previous report.
The reality television stars must live in different parts of the house, and may not cross into the other’s personal space without permission. Plus, they are ordered not to “eavesdrop” when the other is parenting and spending time with their children.
As an attempt to protect the couple’s 4 young kids, the two have been ordered to act “civilly towards one another," and "Neither parent shall disparage the other parent in the presence of or earshot of the minor children."
The Blast also previously reported that ‘RHOA’ star Kim Zolciak recently asked for her divorce to be called off with her husband claiming the two stars are still having s– regularly.
However, her estranged husband almost immediately shot down her request. Per our previous report, Biermann has described Zolciak's initial petition as a “legal game,” adding that “the filing of motion is just another delay tactic in Respondent [Zolciak]’s playbook as indicated by her exclamation “I’m living here not going anywhere!”
The two now live in the same house but in separate rooms, per a judge's court order.
