Khloé Kardashian Unearths Mom's Infidelity Amid Reconciliation Attempt With Tristan Thompson

Due to personal experience, Khloé Kardashian is not letting sleeping dogs lie when it comes to an aspect of Kris Jenner's life — one particular moment that is overshadowed by shame.

The beloved momager had a candid conversation with her daughter, revealing the details of her affair with Caitlyn Jenner during her marriage to Robert Kardashian Sr. and why she considers it the "biggest regret" of her life.

Although Kris has been open about her past infidelity while married to the late Robert, Khloé refused to let her get away with the transgression during the latest episode of "The Kardashians."

The moment presented itself when the mother-of-six appeared to be putting pressure on her third daughter to rethink her decision to end things with Tristan Thompson. Khloé had asked:

"What was your mindset when you cheated? When you did that with my dad, and you had four kids and you had a family? Yes, I know you were really young...."

Defending her cheating past, Kris, who's determined to reunite Khloé with Tristan despite the basketball player's past indiscretions, responded:

"I think being really young and dumb is something that plays into it because you don't really understand the consequences of your actions."

Still unable to understand the 67-year-old's point, the Good American founder pressed, "But what was my dad not doing that made you want to look elsewhere?"

"I don't know because he was such a great husband and such a great dad, and I think that I fell into a situation where I thought that the grass was greener somewhere else, and I made a huge mistake. That's my life's biggest regret," Kris acknowledged.

She then elaborated on her thoughts in a confessional, expressing her desire for Khloé to carefully consider severing all ties with Tristan. In her words:

"When I got divorced, Robert and I became best friends. We talked on the phone all day long, helped each other through things all the time, and I did have regrets. I thought, Wow, what I was thinking? So I want Khloé to be really careful when she makes these decisions and she has to let somebody go."

Back in their conversation, on this week's episode of the hit Hulu show, Kris told Khloé that even while she wasn't proud of being a cheater, "Everything happens for a reason." 

She also emphasized that without everything unfolding as it did, she wouldn't have her daughters, Kendall and Kylie Jenner, whom she shares with Caitlyn, whom she married after her marriage to Robert.

In case you missed it, Kris and Caitlyn met on a blind date in 1990 and hit it off immediately. Speaking on their bond, Kris stated:

"I was infatuated with her because she was very different from me. But yes, I'd have to say, it was love at first sight."

Caitlyn Jenner came out as transgender in 2015.

Thanks to Tristan's continuous public indiscretions, Khloé is prepared to adopt a more protective stance if it means their daughter, True Thompson, will be safe from individuals similar to him.

In a conversation with a close girlfriend, Malika Haqq, the mother of two expressed her strong disapproval of individuals who engage in cheating. She reflected on the emotional turmoil caused by Tristan's actions and declared her determination to shield True from such, saying:

"If someone did to my daughter what Tristan did, I would probably castrate them and smile doing it."

The "Kourtney and Khloé Take The Hamptons" reality star maintained her stance in a confessional, where she expressed, "What happened between Tristan and I was not some small little incident. It was some massive situation that really was a very traumatic experience for me in my life, so I'm not going to forget it."
