If you are wondering why there is little to no information on her love life, the answer is simple — Bethenny Frankel is not a fan of flaunting relationships on social media!
Known for her candid and fearless approach, the former "Real Housewives of New York City" star recently shared her thoughts on the topic. Even though she is currently engaged, the TV personality has followed her own words and kept details of her romance close to her chest.
Bethenny Frankel Shares Her Thoughts About Flaunting Relationships On Social Media
In a chat with Sherri Shepherd on "Sherri," the mother-of-one opened up about the complexities of showcasing one's love on social media platforms, noting that it had "no upside."
Getting right to the topic, Shepherd asked the 52-year-old if she had an opinion on "posting about your significant other on social media." As expected, Frankel did not hold back and emphatically stated:
"I say it's like a secret. It's tempting to tell it in the beginning, but there's really no upside."
The reality TV star even went ahead and gave examples of relationships that she felt were not benefited by the act. One couple she mentioned was Machine Gun Kelly and Megan Fox, who she pointed out showed everyone intimate details of their romance while things were rosy, only to want privacy when they turned sour. In her words:
"When it goes down, they want you to respect their privacy, and it's not that easy cuz you invited us in when it was all rainbows and fairy tales. We are invested, so then, on the way out, people will be invested too. So what goes up must come down."
The doting mother's take on relationships going on social media might also be the reason Frankel kept her love story private and only disclosed details two years later. In June, the businesswoman took to Instagram to recall the memorable evening when she said "yes to forever" to her now-fiancé, Paul Bernon.
The post included photos of their cherished moments, featuring an up-close shot of her stunning diamond ring. In the caption, she explained how they opted for a low-key, pandemic-friendly proposal at a private hotel in the Florida Keys.

The "Bethenny Ever After" star revealed that her beau's sole agenda was to witness the breathtaking sunset, a renowned spectacle in the Keys. While keeping specific details private, Frankel expressed her delight in the beautiful proposal before gushing:
"Bryn and I and Biggy Smallz are so lucky to have Paul in our lives. He is a loving, beautiful, generous, kind, funny, and smart good man who we love with all of our hearts."

Choosing to defy convention when it comes to her relationship with her firm producer partner, the author opened up about her perspective on marriage and wedding plans. While some might have been expecting a grand ceremony, Frankel decided to draw inspiration from the enduring love story of Goldie Hawn and Kurt Russell.
In an exclusive interview with E! News Chief Correspondent Keltie Knight, "The Apprentice: Martha Stewart" runner-up revealed that they were in no rush to walk down the aisle.
"I don't want to build a wedding. I love my life, I love my fiancé. He's an amazing life partner, and I don't want to sign a contract with someone I love, and I don't want to plan a massive wedding for everybody else and not what we want," she candidly stated.
The "Wish Me Luck" actress' statement showed that she was standing firm in prioritizing what felt authentic and meaningful to their relationship rather than succumbing to societal pressures.
