Bethenny Frankel Tells Her Engagement Story While Flaunting Massive Diamond Rock

Bethenny Frankel has a sweet engagement story to tell!

The 52-year-old brunette, who has been married twice before, did not shy away from giving the idea of marriage a third chance when her now-fiancé Paul Bernon popped the big question.

The duo initially began dating in 2018 after connecting via a dating up before confirming their engagement in March 2021. Two years later, Frankel has shared the behind-the-scenes details of the moment she said yes to being with the film producer forever.

Although Frankel and Bernon broke up briefly in 2020, the decision to restart the relationship three months later and then become engaged came quickly to them. The evidence was highlighted in Frankel's latest Instagram update, where she recalled how her man popped the question.

The television personality uploaded multiple slides, kicking off with a picture of her and the businessman snuggling with each other on their special night. She rested her head on her beau's shoulder while he put his arm around her.

Her massive diamond ring, which has an emerald-cut stone next to two smaller ones, made an up-close appearance in the second slide, followed by an ocean selfie of her and Bernon and a shot of the former "The Real Housewives of New York City" star rocking a red hot bikini. Below the avalanche of content, the seasons six and eight guest stars of "The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills" wrote:

"On February 12, 2021, during the pandemic, Paul and I went to Little Palm Island, a small private hotel on a Florida island in the Florida keys. We are homebodies and rarely book a reservation...we like to be free and nimble and not held down to a time or plan."

She disclosed that Bernon's only mission on D-Day was for them to catch the sunset "because the Keys are known for the stunning sunsets." For their date, the "Teacher of the Year" producer walked his bride-to-be "to a beautiful private table on the beach as private and romantic as a fantasy date on "the bachelor."

After admitting that the "intimate details of the story are private," Frankel assured her followers thatsecretivenesscrecy did not stop her from having "a beautiful proposal, in a beautiful setting, with a beautiful ring, to a beautiful man." Ultimately, news of their engagement broke when paparazzi captured the mother-of-one spotting the large bling on vacation. She wrapped up, gushing:

"Bryn and I and Biggy Smallz are so lucky to have Paul in our lives. He is a loving, beautiful, generous, kind, funny and smart good man who we love with all of our hearts."

Several of Frankel's followers found the post endearing, and they let her know in the comment section. Over the weekend, The Blast reported that the "Beat Bobby Flay" guest host came under fire after she shared a video of her attention-grabbing ring on Instagram. Per the article, the incident saw critics calling the "ReWives" podcaster "braggy" and insensitive to America's rising inflation.

At the time, she had captioned the view of the rock's sparkles, 'Kind of scared about what this might mean for me… #engagementring #diamond #margarita." In the words of one critic, "I have a huge diamond too, but I'm never showy about it or try to show off what I own."

Another Instagram user alluded to the diamonds being fake, typing, "I think anything over 5 carats looks fake AF even if I know it." Some others accused her of being a "show off," and a handful of others found it distasteful that Frankel would zoom in to the ring and post it on social media, even if she is "rich as sh*t."

In response, the "Money Court" host, who shares her daughter, Bryn, with her ex-husband Jason Hoppy, told her attackers they were jealous of her and asked them to "get a sense of humor."
