Pop star Britney Spears is having the "highest selling celebrity memoir in history."

The day after her memoir, "The Woman In Me," was released on Tuesday, October, 24, 2023, the "Toxic" singer took to Instagram and X, formerly known as Twitter, to thank her fans for all of their love and support.

On Wednesday morning, the now 41-year-old pop star thanked her fans for becoming the highest selling celebrity memoir in history on the first day of release.

"It’s happening ✨?? !!! My book is the highest selling celebrity memoir in history and it’s only day 1 !!! Thank you to the fans who have been so supportive !!! Love you all ? !!!" she wrote in the caption.

“You deserve it. And thank you for sharing your story with us. Congratulations on another record, queen!” one fan commented. “You are making history again from the Princess of Pop to the celebrity author! ICONIC!” another follower exclaimed.

“This woman has spent her life entertaining YOU! She’s been through more than most and shows up smiling for YOU every day,” a third fan chimed in. “Through good and bad. I can’t wait to support her by getting this book and if you ever danced, kissed, or cried to her songs you should buy it and support her too! Go Britney Go!”

Britney Admits She Does Not Like The 'Headlines' Around Her Tell-All Book

On Friday afternoon, the "Piece Of Me" singer took to Instagram and X to tell her fans that she does not like the "headlines" that she has been reading about her memoir and insisted that she is looking forward to a "beautiful clean slate" now that her book has been released.

“My book’s purpose was not to offend anyone by any means !!! That was me then …that is in the past !!!” she began. “I don’t like the headlines I am reading …that’s exactly why I quit the business 4 years ago !!! Most of the book is from 20 years ago … I have moved on and it’s a beautiful clean slate from here !!!”

“I am here to establish it that way for the rest of my entire life !!!” she continued. “Either way, that is the last of it and s— happens !! This is actually a book didn’t know needed to be written … although some might be offended, it has given me closure on all things for a better future !!!”

“Hopefully I can enlighten people who feel particularly alone in most cases or hurt or misunderstood !!! Again, my motive for this book was not to harp on my past experiences which is what the press is doing and it’s dumb and silly !!!” she concluded. “I have moved on since then !! #TheWomaninMe.”

Britney Spears Is Spending Time With Her Dogs Amid Memoir Release

Since the "Girl In The Mirror" singer is not doing any press for “The Woman In Me,” many fans have been wondering what the pop star has been up to. She recently revealed that she has been “so busy” lately but is still finding time to spend with her dogs.

“Been so busy lately and there are so many hard things to read in the news about my book !!! Writing the book was so hard ? !!! Then I woke up this morning and said it’s all relative nothing really matters at this point ??‍♀️ !!!” she wrote in the caption of an Instagram post along with a photo of a woman with a key locked in her chest.

“As long as Snow has her Noonie the world is a better place  ???!!! Psss swipe to see the killer dog ? !!!” she joked, referring to the second slide of the video that features her new puppy, Snow, rolling around in the blankets in her bed.
