Rihanna's Fans Express Their Disappointment Over Not Seeing Her On Tour

Over the weekend, reports claiming that Rihanna was planning a substantial world tour spanning 2024 and 2025 as part of a $39 million deal with Live Nation surfaced on the interweb.

Later on October 23, it was also published a report stating that the "B— Better Have My Money" singer was "planning a world tour for 2024/2025 after striking a deal with Live Nation."

However, these reports are now being disputed as "bogus" by an insider cited by Billboard. Per the outlet, the high-level source, who would typically be involved in such discussions, expressed doubt about the $39 million and pointed out that "no tour has been confirmed for Rihanna."

While this won't be the first time that fans would learn of a proposed tour, it's definitely the first time that an industry source would strongly shut down the hopes for a Rihanna tour and new music. And it expectedly brought out the Rihanna Navy in full force.

Reacting to the unpalatable news, one fan pleaded via X, "Please can it not be bogus I need  and want a Rihanna tour !" while another declared, "Whoever wrote that "source" that said Rihanna was coming back with a tour & two albums is evil for lying."

"Oh really? That's disappointing to hear. I guess we'll have to wait for some official news about Rihanna's tour," a third fan reacted, as a fourth typed, "We can't have anything" above a gif of a woman crying on another woman's shoulder.

Holding on to hope, this X user expressed, "Okay hear me out, I still think the Rihanna situation tour/albums is real, she just didn't want it to be out this soon," before theorizing in a follow-up remark:

"When she was pregnant with RZA, the internet knew it but she denied it indirectly till the diggzy shots so...."

Seemingly having the same thought as the above comments, a sixth internet citizen chimed, "As expected. Call me crazy but this is just a ploy from Rih so that nobody expects the tour announcement. She wants all that hype for the announcement not for it to be leaked online. Also, notice how it doesn't mention the 2 albums being fake. RIHANNA IS STILL COMING IN 2024!"

The Fenty Mogul & ASAP Rocky Picked An Unconventional Name For Their Son

Long before she got into the news for her touring — or the lack thereof, the "Bring It On: All or Nothing" actress and her man, ASAP Rocky, had turned the world on its head when the name of their second child and son became public knowledge.

The high-profile couple had chosen the name Riot Rose Mayers for their baby boy, making it their second child with a name that begins with the letter "R." Their first son is named RZA Athelston Mayers after the famous Wu-Tang Clan de facto leader's rap moniker.

Going by the child's birth certificate, obtained by The Blast, the baby was born on August 1, 2023, at 7:41 a.m. inside Cedar Sinai Hospital in Los Angeles. This contradicts a report that had incorrectly stated the birth date as August 3.

It's interesting to note that Rihanna's OB-GYN is listed as Thais Aliabadi, the same doctor who gained recognition on "Keeping Up With The Kardashians" for her work with Khloe Kardashian and Kylie Jenner. She also assisted in delivering Al Pacino's ex-girlfriend's son, as we previously reported.

While Riot is a great name, it's not entirely clear if it's associated with the similarly titled song that ASAP worked on with industry legend Pharrell Williams.
