Can YOU Spot All The Britney Spears References In Sam Asghari's New Interview?

Fans of pop star Britney Spears are calling Sam Asghari out for his "Lucky" shirt.

"Lucky" is the name of one of Britney's most recognizable songs. Although it could be just a coincidence, some fans don't think so, especially with her memoir, "The Woman In Me," dropping on Tuesday, October 24.

On Monday, the Iranian actor posted a whole Instagram carousel full of photos from his latest photo shoot. In the third photo, he is wearing a shirt that has “Lucky” stitched across the front of his tank top. Some fans didn’t think it was a coincidence, with one fan calling out “The Britney Lucky shirt.”

Another follower said that his style was “giving ‘Kevin Federline’ vibes,” referring to Britney’s second husband. “I like pic 3. A lot of you know what I mean,” another follower wrote, referring to the slide the “Lucky” shirt was on. Another fan noted that he was “without Britney Spears” as he filed for divorce on August 16, 2023.

It's also worth noting that the 29-year-old actor is drinking a can of Coke on the second slide. Given that Britney has partnered with Pepsi in the past, could that have influenced his beverage choice?

In September 2023, Pepsi shared a remastered version of her 2001 “Joy Of Pepsi” ad at the 2023 MTV Video Music Awards to celebrate the brand’s 125th anniversary.

“It’s exciting to see Pepsi celebrating our 'Joy Of Cola' spot as part of the 125th anniversary celebrations,” Britney said in a statement to People magazine. “This was such an iconic music video-styled spot that we shot 20 years ago, and [it] still resonates so much with fans."

The “Special Ops: Lioness” actor took part in an interview with the headline, “Sam Asghari Drives Them Crazy,” which seems like a play off of Britney’s hit song “(You Drive Me) Crazy.”

During the interview itself, Sam was asked, “What’s the first letter of the name of the person who hurt you the most?” Sam replied, “B,” leading many to suspect that it was Britney Spears. However, he later went on to joke, “My high school football coach really did kick my a--.” However, it’s unclear if he was joking.

During the interview, Sam was asked, “What’s your favorite body part?” Sam replied, “Although chest day is my favorite day, glutes are my favorite.” Later on in the interview, when asked, “What do you tell yourself when no one else can hear?” he replied, “Dang you’ve got a great a--.”

When asked, “Where do you go to hide?” he joked, “My butt is too big to hide. I was the worst person at hide-and-seek.” The actor has been posting a lot more of his workout photos and videos to Instagram, recently showing off a transformation that took him from "dad" to "daddy." Of course, many of the comments on his post aren't about his fitness levels. Instead, many fans have been expressing their feelings about his divorce from Britney Spears.

"Good for you, but have you already forgotten that you are still a husband? that your still wife is alone and that she needs you? When you married her last year, did you plan to leave her without fighting enough for her? How quickly you gave up, only 1 year and you decided to leave just like everyone else in her life," one fan commented.

"It's clear she's struggling (who wouldn't be after everything she has been through?) she's still healing and that's when she most needs patience, understanding, support, and company from her husband 'for better, for worse, in sickness and in health.' You should have taken care of her and been with her, not left her and asked for spousal support and legal fees as if she were an ATM (everyone in her life has already treated her like that) you saw firsthand all the abuse she suffered and how much this whole situation has hurt her and you decide to do the same thing that other people have done," they added, expressing hope that the two will eventually reconcile and get back together.
