Fans of pop star Britney Spears are calling out her ex-boyfriend Justin Timberlake for accusations that she made in her memoir, "The Woman In Me."
Although the former couple only dated from 1999 to 2002, their relationship was full of allegations of infidelity and even an unplanned pregnancy. Fans of the pop star have taken over the "Cry Me A River" singer's Instagram page to demand accountability, and, as one fan warned him, "karma is coming."
Britney Spears Fans DEMAND An Apology From Justin Timberlake!
On Instagram, TikTok, and X, formerly known as Twitter, fans of Britney Spears are calling out Justin Timberlake for the way he treated the pop star after the breakup. In her memoir, "The Woman In Me," she even claims that "The Social Network" actor got "power" from "shaming" her in the media. This has not sat well with Britney fans, who have flooded the comments of his recent Instagram posts to demand accountability and an apology.
“You forced her to have an abortion then you made a lot of money destroying her image with Cry Me a River. Karma is coming,” read one comment that got over 10,000 likes.
“Just a random question: what do you guys think about ‘exposing’ your ex's virginity in public, blaming her for everything, making her get an abortion cause you don’t want to be a dad, getting famous by a song you make about including a lookalike of her...?” another follower asked.

“Your kid would have been in their 20s now,” a third fan chimed in. In an excerpt of “The Woman In Me,” released by the Associated Press, Britney, who was only 19 at the time, agreed not to go to the doctor or the hospital in order to keep the pregnancy secret. As such, she went through an “excruciating” at-home abortion.
“I kept crying and sobbing until it was all over,” Britney recalled in her memoir. “It took hours, and I don’t remember how it ended, but I do, twenty years later, remember the pain of it, and the fear.”
She also recalled how the “Mirrors” crooner was playing the guitar during her abortion while she was “crying and sobbing” on the bathroom floor.
Fans Are Even Compiling Lists Of The 'BEST' Justin Timberlake Comments!
Britney Spears fans have even started creating videos compiling lists of the “best” comments on Justin Timberlake. One user even wrote, “Please stop hating on Justin; I can’t like all the comments!” Another Britney fan even dropped in an NSYNC reference, writing, “Your career is gonna go ‘bye bye bye…’” In the comments, someone worked in the lyric of another one of his songs, writing, “What goes around, comes back around.”
Over on the Instagram video, another user wrote, “Now we understand why you didn't want the book. In front of the cameras, you were the best couple, but behind the scenes, you used her to get ahead and after you got ahead you left her. didn't you want to be a father? If you hadn't had a child, you were the beginning of her downfall. How sad.”
Earlier this week, a source told Us Weekly that the boy bander is trying to "distance" himself from the book. “Justin will always be supportive of Britney and all of her endeavors, but he’s trying to distance himself from her upcoming book,” the source said. “It’s not something he’s focusing too much on in terms of anything she might discuss when it comes to their former relationship.”
Britney Spears Says She Has 'Moved On' From Justin Timberlake Drama
On Friday afternoon, hours before she deactivated her Instagram account for about 24 hours, the "Hold Me Closer" singer posted a message to X and Instagram, explaining that she has "moved on" from her "past experiences" and is looking for a "clean slate."
“My book’s purpose was not to offend anyone by any means !!! That was me then …that is in the past !!!” she began. “I don’t like the headlines I am reading …that’s exactly why I quit the business 4 years ago !!! Most of the book is from 20 years ago … I have moved on and it’s a beautiful clean slate from here !!!”
“I am here to establish it that way for the rest of my entire life !!!” she continued. “Either way, that is the last of it and s— happens !! This is actually a book didn’t know needed to be written … although some might be offended, it has given me closure on all things for a better future !!!”
“Hopefully I can enlighten people who feel particularly alone in most cases or hurt or misunderstood !!! Again, my motive for this book was not to harp on my past experiences which is what the press is doing and it’s dumb and silly !!!” she concluded. “I have moved on since then !! #TheWomaninMe.”
Britney Spears' memoir "The Woman In Me" is scheduled for release on Tuesday, October 24, 2023.
