Will The Unplanned Pregnancy Bombshell Be The Biggest Revelation In 'The Woman In Me'?
Many fans can’t help but wonder what the biggest bombshell will come out of Britney’s memoir, “The Woman In Me.” Many fans did not expect Britney to admit that she was pregnant or her confession that she still isn't sure that terminating the pregnancy was "the right decision."
In an excerpt of “The Woman In Me,” released by People magazine, Britney opened up on the "agonizing" decision of what to do with her child after she became pregnant. “It was a surprise, but for me, it wasn’t a tragedy. I loved Justin so much. I always expected us to have a family together one day. This would just be much earlier than I’d anticipated,” she wrote in her memoir. “But Justin definitely wasn’t happy about the pregnancy. He said we weren’t ready to have a baby in our lives, that we were way too young.”
“I don’t know if that was the right decision. If it had been left up to me alone, I never would have done it. And yet Justin was so sure that he didn’t want to be a father,” she continued, adding, “To this day, it’s one of the most agonizing things I have ever experienced in my life.”
Britney Spears' Memoir Is Reportedly 'A Nightmare' For Justin Timberlake
A longtime family friend told The Sun that the "Mirrors" singer is a different person now than who he was when he dated Britney over two decades ago. "Justin owns who he was when he and Britney were together, even though his personality, career, lifestyle, and personal priorities are radically different now, twenty years later," the insider said. “This book is a nightmare for him because of how it throws the whole family into chaos."
“The timing stings just as much as the revelation itself," they continued. “Justin had a big fall planned with new music on deck, more work with his old friends in NSYNC, and of course, the next installment of the Trolls franchise, which has been a huge moneymaker for Justin over the last several years.”
Britney Spears' tell-all memoir "The Woman In Me" is scheduled for release on Tuesday, October 24, 2023.
