Nicole Appleton Gets Dragged Into Justin Timberlake, Britney Spears Cheating Rumors

Canadian singer and TV host Nicole Appleton is being dragged into the cheating scandal between Justin Timberlake and Britney Spears.

In her new memoir, "The Woman In Me," the Princess of Pop not only claims that she and the "Cry Me A River" singer navigated an unplanned pregnancy together, but that the relationship ended when he cheated on her with "another celebrity." Although Britney won't name names, as the other woman has a family now, fans can't help but remember that Justin was accused of cheating with Nicole Appleton years ago.

Britney Spears and Justin Timberlake dated from 1999 to 2002. During that time frame, the *NSYNC member was allegedly caught cheating with Nicole Appleton, who performed with the English girl group All Saints at the time. In the year 2000, paparazzi snapped photos of Justin and Nicole heading back to his hotel in London, as per Page Six.

One user took to social media to share photos of the two at the time, writing, "Yikes! Anyway, let’s not forget Justin chested on Britney first with Nicole Appleton from the band All Saints." It is unclear if this is the woman that Britney is referring to in her memoir, "The Woman In Me," or if she is alleging that Justin cheated with a second woman that she refuses to name.

Justin, who was 19 at the time, was photographed with the then-25-year-old singer trying to hide from photographers while ducking into the back seat of a car. They were also photographed making their way from the Mayfair Club to the St. Martins Lane Hotel, where the "Mirrors" crooner was staying at the time. Headlines at the time noted that Justin and Britney were still in a relationship at the time the photographs were taken, while insiders at the time claimed that the two were working through "some issues" in their relationship.

“She had her questions about who he was with because stuff would be out in the press. They were very famous,” Julianne Kaye told the Mirror in 2022. “So he’d be out with some girl from All Saints, and she’d get very jealous.”

On Wednesday morning, TMZ reported that Britney claims that Justin cheated on her in her upcoming memoir, "The Woman In Me," which is scheduled for release next Tuesday. They claim that Britney declines to name the woman, saying that she has a family now. It is unclear if Nicole is the woman Britney is referencing in her memoir, but Nicole, now 48, does have a son named Gene, 22, with her ex-husband, Oasis frontman Liam Gallagher. She also has a 3-year-old daughter named Skipper with her current husband, Stephen Haines.

Justin Timberlake also has two sons: Silas, 8, and Phineas, 3. He married actress Jessica Biel in 2012. As for Britney, she was married to Kevin Federline from 2004 to 2007. The two also had two sons: Sean Preston, 18, and Jayden James, 17. In her forthcoming memoir, the "Toxic" singer also goes on to claim that she and Justin had an unplanned pregnancy together around the same time that he and Nicole were photographed together.

In an excerpt of “The Woman In Me,” released by People magazine on Tuesday, Britney opened up on her unplanned pregnancy, noting that it "wasn't a tragedy" even though Justin was "so sure that he didn't want to be a father" at the time.

“It was a surprise, but for me, it wasn’t a tragedy. I loved Justin so much. I always expected us to have a family together one day. This would just be much earlier than I’d anticipated,” she wrote in her memoir. “But Justin definitely wasn’t happy about the pregnancy. He said we weren’t ready to have a baby in our lives, that we were way too young.”

“I don’t know if that was the right decision. If it had been left up to me alone, I never would have done it. And yet Justin was so sure that he didn’t want to be a father,” she continued, adding, “To this day, it’s one of the most agonizing things I have ever experienced in my life.”
