Pop star Britney Spears dropped a major reveal about her relationship with Justin Timberlake in her upcoming memoir "The Woman In Me."

In a new excerpt from her memoir, published on Tuesday, the 41-year-old pop star revealed that she had actually been pregnant at the time that she was dating the "Cry Me A River" singer. After several emotional talks, the two decided to have an abortion.

Fans were quick to notice that there is the image of a woman holding a baby in Britney's "Everytime" music video, which is causing some to wonder whether or not Britney intended to use that image as a reference to her unplanned pregnancy.

In an excerpt of “The Woman In Me,” released by People magazine, Britney opened up on her unplanned pregnancy in late 2000. “It was a surprise, but for me, it wasn’t a tragedy. I loved Justin so much. I always expected us to have a family together one day. This would just be much earlier than I’d anticipated,” she wrote in her memoir. “But Justin definitely wasn’t happy about the pregnancy. He said we weren’t ready to have a baby in our lives, that we were way too young.”

“I don’t know if that was the right decision. If it had been left up to me alone, I never would have done it. And yet Justin was so sure that he didn’t want to be a father,” she continued, adding, “To this day, it’s one of the most agonizing things I have ever experienced in my life.”

Even though Britney did not have any children with Justin Timberlake, she did have two children with her ex-husband, Kevin Federline, to whom she was married from 2004 to 2007.

Sean Preston, 18, and Jayden James, 17, recently moved to Hawaii with their father last month after K-Fed's wife Victoria reportedly got a job at a sports department at a university in the state.

Although it goes without saying that the "Piece of Me" singer loves her sons, she did share a cryptic post on Instagram last week alleging "payback" for years of estrangement.
