A controversial conversation has started online surrounding new, realistic spider earrings, that might make your Halloween a much different experience.

The new pair of earrings, which look exactly like a real daddy long legs, has fans divided!

The realistic spider earrings are going viral on Facebook as the piece of jewelry looks exactly like a daddy's long leg. The post, as of 6:00 p.m. ET on October 15, has gained 13,000 reactions, 6,700 comments, and 11,00 shares! There is a small attachment on the body of the spider, which allows those who want to wear it, to pierce it through their ear and wear it just like a normal earring.

With Halloween quickly approaching, these earrings are making their rounds on Facebook, although, many fans are not on board with the trend.  "Prepare to get smacked in the head all day long," one fan commented on the post as another said, "Yeah nah! Full stop!!!!!"

"Until your well-meaning friend or stranger smacks the heck out of your ear and rips it out!! (Oh my god!!! It's biting him and won't let go!!!)," another fan said.

While one user chimed in, "Think of all the whacks you would get on the side of your head, from my shoes ??".

Meanwhile, others loved the earrings as one Facebook user tagged her friend, writing, "You'll like this you're into weird things to do with spiders lol".

Another fan told their friend, "You're getting these for Christmas!!!! X".

While one user mentioned their Facebook friend, writing, "I know how much you like wearing spiders so why don’t you get this!" as one horror fan commented, "We need these earrings!"

One Facebook user expressed their excitement for the spider earrings as they enthusiastically wrote: "YES PLEASE ?".

With Halloween around the corner, these realistic spider earrings could be a huge hit, but for us, it's a hard pass!
