Dillon Danis's Latest Tweet Reveals Fate Of Logan Paul Fight

Bellator fighter Dillon Danis has just seemingly confirmed that the highly anticipated fight with former YouTuber Logan Paulis on tonight.

Fans were unsure if the Logan Paul vs Dillon Danis fight would actually happen after things got rough earlier this week at the press conference. Paul suffered an injury to his eye after Dillon Danis hit the "Bizaardvark" actor in the face with a microphone.

The YouTube influencer's trainer, Milton Lacroix, told USA Today, "Right now, we going through h---. He got hit in the face. His eye's cut. So right now, I'm just bugging out right now, just trying to find somebody. There might not be a fight."

Paul, however, claimed that incident would not stop him from fighting Danis in the ring as he took to X, writing, "Dillon can’t escape me. The fight is very much happening, the stakes just got higher."

Danis, on the other hand, did not speak out following the showdown at the press conference -- until now.

"Fight Night," he wrote alongside a photo of him in a car, perhaps on the way to the fight to prepare and get loose.

Ahead of the fight, just a few weeks ago, Dillon Danis spoke out about Logan Paul, expressing, “I think me and the Pauls have had a lot of history and there’s a lot more storyline, me and KSI never had a storyline. I think he’s a loser, he’s not a real fighter, he’s a video gamer, who brought nothing to me. Logan has actually boxed Floyd Mayweather so at least he brings a little bit of credibility and it’s better.”

The MMA fighter concluded with, “I think KSI sucks and I would have starched him… He’s working for me, I sold this whole fight so he’s my b—-, tell him to take the bandana off and show his forehead, both of them!”

A few hours ago, Danis also shared a photo of Paul kissing his wife, Nina Agdal, writing, "Make sure those lips don't come near me during the fight. I'm not trying to catch something," seemingly confirming the fight is still on.

The main card (which is when the Logan Paul vs Dillon Danis fight will occur) is set to get underway at 7 p.m. UK / 2 p.m. ET with the ringwalks for this specific fight scheduled for 10:05 p.m. UK / 5:05 p.m ET.

KSI, who previously fought Paul in 2019, winning in a split decision, expressed who he wants to win in the matchup. "[Dillon Danis] is just someone that gets under my skin and I wish I was the guy to obliterate him, but luckily we have got Logan (Paul) to do it."

He continued, "I just hope Dillon shows up. I think the good thing about this event is if Dillon doesn’t show up, we have a replacement ready whereas last time, we were scrambling about what we have to do."

KSI's opinion comes after Dillon Danis withdrew from his fight against KSI at Misfits 004 in January — just ten days before the event. During a lie detector challenge for DAZN Boxing’s Youtube channel, Danis set the record straight about his canceled event in January.

"He’s a p—-," Danis said of KSI. "I just think KSI’s a nobody. It was a lose-lose for me, and beating him was like ‘who cares?’ I don’t know. I didn’t really care about fighting him at all.”
