Hollywood Heavyweights Flocking To Capital Club Dubai To Drop Millions

If you haven't noticed, Dubaiis the new Los Angeles, and many Hollywoodheavyweights are moving their massive mounds of cash to the UAE

We're told Capital Club Dubai is becoming a newfound place for celebrity investors to connect with Dubai’s elite.

Dave Chaggar, Sales Director for Capital Club Dubai, has been an instrumental piece of the jigsaw in Capital Club’s resurgence as the most elite prestigious private members club in Dubai where deals are commonly done over a cigar and a handshake.

Of course, A-listers love a club where they are one of only a few allowed through its doors -- especially if it's going to make them millions. It takes money to make money and Hollywood hitters are bringing their celebrity cash and fame to hobnob with the UAE's elite.

We asked Chagger what the massive move is attributable to, and he has a clear answer.

"Gone are the days of passive private members clubs. There really needs to be a unique factor as to what makes you appealing. And with Capital Club Dubai the key is business and highly targeted introductions, above and beyond its strategic location and opulent decor," he said.

Adding, "Being male-dominated also does not conform to today’s working world as we see with so many high-profile CEOs being female. Many of the most successful companies today have a far more balanced ratio of males and females. The United Arab Emirates has really been at the forefront of such initiatives."

Interestingly, we have seen a large influx of some of the biggest female celebrities flocking to this region, like Beyonce. 

As we reported, Queen B was paid millions to open the Atlantis Royal Hotel on the crescent of Palm Jumeirah. Plus, several stars are invested in top-tier real estate. 

"Also a major factor is to attract the attention of younger business leaders, in many cases taking the reins of their family businesses here in the Middle East. In order to do so, the pace of activity and vibrance are paramount in creating the right vibe," he continued.

Where Capital Club now differs from its counterparts across the world is the combination of business and social gatherings that give balance to network subliminally amongst some of the most influential groups and entities within the region. Whilst many of the Middle Eastern institutional investors and sovereign funds are looking to diversify and deploy dry powder across the world and are becoming more industry agnostic, the United Arab Emirates is attracting a great deal of interest internationally.

As always, the Club is tight-lipped about exactly who is joining their ranks...but that is something Hollywood celebrities love too!
