Reese Witherspoon Warns Parents to Delete Social Media Amid Fear of Hostage Videos From Hamas

"Legally Blonde" actress Reese Witherspoon warns parents as the brutal attacks in Israel continue.

The 47-year-old mother of two took to social media to share how "hard of a time" she has been having "finding the words to express her despair and outage of the brutal murders" happening in Israel.

Resse Witherspoon shared a warning for parents, asking them to have their children delete TikTok and Instagram, per the Israeli government, as cruel and brutal videos of the Hamas attacks are making their rounds on social media.

"Dear Students and Parents," the post that Witherspoon shared to her Instagram Story began. "Local psychologists have reached out to us and informed us that the Israeli government is urging parents to tell their children to delete Instagram and TikTok immediately."

The post, which Jessica Yellin originally shared, continued, "We strongly advise our students to do the same as soon as possible. Terrorists are expected to release distressing videos of hostages begging for their lives. People who follow Jewish or Israeli influencers may stumble upon them. As one Israeli psychologist has noted, 'The videos and testimonies we are currently exposed to are bigger and crueler than our souls contain."

Many schools are sending out warnings to parents, similar to the one Witherspoon shared on her Instagram Story, as the brutal Hamas attacks are being recorded and uploaded to social media platforms.

In the caption of the post that Witherspoon shared, Jessica Yellin added, "An NNN'r sent us this email from their child's school. The school is warning parents to urge their children to get off Instagram and TikTok in the coming days, especially if they follow Jewish and Israeli influencers. A similar message has gone out from many schools."

She continued to share, "Hamas has taken over 150 hostages. They have already begun executing hostages and circulating the footage. Israel fears Hamas will soon release footage of hostages begging for their lives."

In another post, Reese Witherspoon spoke out about her thoughts as a mother regarding the Israel war.

"As a mother, I'm having a hard time finding words to express my despair and outrage at the brutal murder and kidnapping of Jewish people in Israel over the past few days," she began to write.

"The ongoing conflict and loss of innocent lives in Israel and Palestine is more than the human spirit can bear," she continued. "We are witnessing the darkest parts of humanity. As this conflict escalates, I pray for the families dealing with this unspeakable horror daily."

Witherspoon added, "I pray for peace and the end of this darkness. I pray the better parts of our humanity will prevail. As I gather information about trusted resources for relief and aid, I will share more with you all. Please, God helps us find our way."
