In their statement, the duo called the attack “appalling” and said they were “distressed” by the “devastating events that have unfolded in the past days.”
The Prince And Princess Of Wales Speak Out On Hamas Attack
In an official statement, the royal couple wrote, “The Prince and Princess of Wales are profoundly distressed by the devastating events that have unfolded in the past days. The horrors inflicted by Hamas’s terrorist attack upon Israel are appalling; they utterly condemn them.
The statement continued, “As Israel exercises its right of self-defense, all Israelis and Palestinians will continue to be stalked by grief, fear, and anger in the time to come.
Adding, “Their Royal Highnesses hold all the victims, their families, and their friends in their hearts and minds. Those The Prince of Wales met in 2018 overwhelmingly shared a common hope – that of a better future.”

William and Middleton concluded their statement by emphasizing that “In the midst of such terrible suffering, The Prince and Princess continue to share that hope without reservation.”
A spokesperson for King Charles III also addressed the shocking attack on the monarch’s behalf, saying, “This is a situation his majesty is extremely concerned about, and he has asked to be kept actively updated. His thoughts and prayers are with all of those suffering, particularly those who have lost loved ones, but also those actively involved as we speak.”
As of now, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are yet to issue a statement.
Israel Was Allegedly Warned Of An Attack
Following Hamas’s surprise attack on Israel on October 7, the Jewish state has responded with substantial strikes on cities within the blockaded Gaza Strip, destroying numerous buildings, including multistory structures, a hospital, residences, schools, and a mosque.
Now, new reports claim that Israel was made aware of potential Hamas violence by Egypt days before their devastating attack took the lives of several Israelis.
According to BBC News, the House of Representatives Foreign Affairs Committee head, Michael McCaul, spoke to reporters on the alleged warning.
He said, “We know that Egypt has warned the Israelis three days prior that an event like this could happen. I don’t want to get too much into classified, but a warning was given. I think the question was at what level.”
An Egyptian intelligence official also claimed this week that Cairo had repeatedly warned Israel that “something big” was being orchestrated in Gaza.
“We have warned them an explosion of the situation is coming, and very soon, and it would be big. But they underestimated such warnings,” the intelligence official said in anonymity to the Associated Press.
According to the Egyptian intelligence official, Israeli officials downplayed the severity of the warnings and instead chose to focus their attention on the West Bank.
Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has denied Israel ever receiving any prior warning of an attack, saying any reports of such is “totally fake news.”
