Singer Lana Del Rey clapped back at Traci Coston after she criticized her music in an Instagram post. Coston accused Del Rey of "witchcraft," making reference to one of her concerts where fans seemed to behave in a strange way. The singer responded, calling the Instagram influencer a "gremlin" for her comment.
Del Rey's response sent the Christian influencer into defense mode as she turned off the comment section for the post. Coston highlighted past interviews where Del Rey allegedly admitted to having "demonic" powers. She asked her over 200k followers to quit listening to Del Rey's music and follow Christ.
Christian Influencer Criticizes Lana Del Rey
Coston alleged to over 200k of her Instagram followers that Del Rey practices witchcraft. She explained in a reel that the "Born To Die" singer uses her "demonic" music to lure listeners. The Christian influencer highlighted a clip from Del Rey's recent concert where some fans appeared to be falling to the side while watching her perform on stage.
While it wasn't obvious what caused them to fall, Coston claimed in her video that it was magic. She explained that the 38-year-old casts spells on the audience to "make" her music "attractive." She noted, "Those demons are being invited into the crowd and into you when you attend." Coston asked listeners to wake up and see through the singer's devilish behavior. She recalled delivering people from demonic possession, which "they get through stuff like this."
Coston then put up another Del Rey photo and called on her followers to turn to Christ. She said, "There's a reason the Bible tells us to stay away from witchcraft, it's because God loves you and he's trying to protect you. Please give your life to Jesus, he is the one who frees you and protects you and for the love of everything please stop going to this stuff."

The reel got the attention of Del Rey herself, who commented underneath the video. She accused the creator of being negative, writing, "B---- I know the Bible verse for verse better than you do. PS you're giving off super gremlin energy. Not in a good way."
Following the response from the "Summertime Sadness" singer, Coston deleted the comeback and turned off further commenting on the post. The video garnered a lot of attention since she shared it in September.
Some X fans criticized the video as well in support of the singer. One commented, "If we are using music to judge who is a witch or wizard based on the Bible, all musicians are one." Another user said, "Tarnishing people's images and defamation is not a good thing to do to people."

At the time, Del Rey asked her fans on X, then Twitter, to get together some ingredients for a "hex" on the former President, Trump. The tweet read, "At the stroke of midnight… Feb 24, March 26, April 24, May 23…Ingredients can b found online."
