'Dancing With The Stars' Still Promoting Jamie Lynn Spears Following Elimination

"Zoey 101" actress Jamie Lynn Spears was voted off of "Dancing With the Stars" just two weeks into the competition.
Despite Jamie Lynn Spears getting voted off last week, the show is still promoting the fact that she participated.
Jamie Lynn Spears Dances The Cha Cha On 'Dancing With the Stars'
The actress and sister of pop icon Britney Spears was competing on the most recent season of "Dancing With the Stars", where she received a ton of hate from fans. That hate was obvious as Spears was voted off of the show just two weeks in.
Although she is no longer on the show, the "Dancing With the Stars" production team is still promoting her. The official social media account shared Spears's Cha Cha dance to Instagram days after she was eliminated.
"Can't help but dance to this Cha Cha 💃 @jamielynnspears & @alanbersten," they captioned a video showing Jamie Lynn Spears's last dance before elimination.

Fans took to the comments section to attack the "Zoey 101" actress. "Ok this is NOT dancing. She is just going thru the motions and making expressions on her face! No sorry…NEXT!," one user said while another commented, "She just can’t dance! Britney got all the talent… sorry not sorry!"
Others, however, were supporting Jamie Lynn Spears, commenting things such as "I didn’t she should’ve went home . These votes are being enter as favorite & popularity" and "Wow so someone who actually improved gets sent home… but you got dudes like Adrian or Harry who legit walk their entire routines… and are still moving into the next week because of popularity … so ridiculous!!!"
'Dancing With the Stars' Says Goodbye To Jamie Lynn Spears
Following her elimination, the "Dancing With the Stars" Instagram account shared a farewell post for Jamie Lynn Spears.
"@jamielynnspears, it was a pleasure watching you dance with @alanbersten. 💚 Everyone help us give them one final round of applause! 👏🏼 #LatinNight #DWTS," they wrote.
Jamie Lynn Spears commented on the post, expressing, "Thankful for this amazing experience and every single person who was apart of it in the #DWTS FAM💃🏼🪩🕺🏻".
Jamie Lynn Spears is best known for her role as Zoey Brooks on Nickelodeon’s “Zoey 101” as well as for being the younger sister to pop icon, Britney Spears, has won several awards for her work, including a Nickelodeon Kids’ Choice Award for Favorite TV Actress (2006). She also won the Teen Choice Award for Choice TV Actress: Comedy (2006) and the Young Artist Award for Best Leading Young Actress in a Comedy Series (2006).

The former Nickelodeon star then took to her own Instagram account to share her gratitude for her fans' support and for her dance partner, Alan Bersten.
"to summarize: click, click, click, click 😳 hanging with the coolest peeps. y’all giving me more love & support from around the 🌎 then ever before," she began in her lengthy post.
"playing dress up w/ the most magical costume dept. bratz doll hair & make up moment with super glam team. did I mention those 4 clicks?"
Prior to her competing on the show, Jamie Lynn Spears pledged that she would donate her salary for the WGA writer’s strike and the SAG-AFTRA actor’s strike. "raising money for #SAGAFTRA," she continued in her goodbye post adding, "real life dance recital, but for grown ups having panic attacks. working w/ the hardest working crew around. MAKING MY KIDS PROUD👱🏼♀️👧🏼"

Jamie Lynn Spears Shares Her Love For Alan Bersten
In another post, Jamie Lynn Spears expressed her gratitude for Alan Bersten.
"Alan, you’re the absolute best friend and partner that anyone could ever ask for. I got to raise some money for my #SAGAFTRA community and meet some of the most amazing ppl, and That’s a win by all accounts in what I set out to do. Softball moms are hot🥎🔥💃🏼".
She added, "Yalllllll, I promise I hear and see all the many wonderfully passionate ppl who are not happy with the way things fell tonight, and i appreciate the tremendous amount love and support, but this was an amazing experience, and I’m very happy to have been apart of it, and soooo excited to see all the fabulous contestants and their partners continue to KILL it each week!!!!!"
